Measuring Obama for a Cardigan and the Misery Index

History and bull are cyclical, so obviously the liberal Democrats want to finally realize Jimmy Carter's second term with Obama and company.  Yes, they want to take us on another long cruise through Hell, allowing us to relive the following.

1) Double digit inflation up to 13% or higher.
2) High unemployment as companies, mostly small businesses, lay off employees because of new regulations and taxation.
3) The Misery Index.
4) The return of the Melees.
5) A pititful foreign policy, which again will be the scorn of the world.
6) Deer-in-the-headlights response to every challenge and disaster.
7) And a president in a cardigan telling us to turn down the heat.

Do we get our official Barack Obama tire gauge with all that bull?  How about money back for every tune up?

I know I've called him the Shill Du Jour, but does he have be this obviously vacuous for his new role?  I hope the sweater fits.

The Revolution Continues, Election to Election

I'm still getting over Election Day, but our lives go on and my life has not been destroyed because of it.  It's simply hard to realize Obama and the News Media won, and we have an empty suit for our next president.  Only now the News Media are admitting even they know little about him.  You cretins had two years to investigate him and find out who he is, instead of cheering him on like the truly deluded.  Fifty-seven million still voted for the better ticket, but not the right one.  Sarah Palin was not the reason McCain lost, he lost the election on his own.  Naming Palin to the ticket was the best thing McCain did in the entire campaign.  We need more people in politics like her.

So, what do we do now?  Keep working toward the next election in 2010 to win back seats in Congress, keep nailing the News Media on their deceptions while holding them responsible for their relentless propaganda in this election.  More later.

The Conservative "I" in PA

Just a short note to remind my fellow Pennsylvanians.  It's about forty-five minutes till the polls close in PA.  If you haven't voted yet, get to the plls now.  Though Pennsylvania is usually a blue state, the central part of the state between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is usually the last region to be counted in elections because it is generally more rural.  Like the western panhandle of Florida, it's also the most conservative part of the state, so do not be discouraged by media reports and remember what Dan Rather did by calling Florida for Gore with forty-five minutes left till the closing of the polls.  The "I" was the reason Santorum was elected and re-elected to the Senate until 2006.  It was also the factor which almost voted our other senator, Snarlin Arlen, out of office in the 2004 primary.  This year the Pittsburgh area may be more in tune with the conservative "I" with the Murtha decision and the two areas can swing the state to McCain.  So, wait till the results have come back from these two areas before you know the election is decided in Pennsylvania, and if you haven't voted in the "I", get in line.

Local Poll Not Crowded in Western PA

Despite the predictions in the News Media and claims of others of long lines, my local poll station only had cars lined up the street and some six people standing in line outside of it at ten minutes to 7AM this morning when I drove by on my way to work.  So it didn't give me enough time to cast my ballot, but only then.  I went back there at around 1PM and it looked like any other election day.  The turn out is good, but not overwhelming, at least in my community.  Don't listen to the News Media reports until the winner is confirmed.  At least Dan Rather won't come out of retirement and declare Florida for the Democrat candidate at 8:15PM this time.  He did that in 2000, calling the state for Gore, when part of the western panhandle of Florida, the most conservative andRepublican area in the state, was in the Central Time Zone and the polls were still open for another forty-five minutes.  The winner was not finally declared until about 4AM the next morning, and it was George W. Bush, as it was in every single recount for the next thre months as the Democrats tried to steal the election.  This election is ours to win or lose, so turn out.

The Steelers and the Red Skins

It's interesting the election might come down to a football game tonight.  I am, of course, a Steelers fan in their contest against the reds from the Federal District of Washington and any other team.  Now, I hear the Redskins have predicted seventeen of the last eighteen elections with the result of their last game before Election Day.  If they win, the party in power wins the election.  Does this put me in doubt about a Steelers win?  Heck no.  First, I want the Steelers to win, especially against the Redskins and such absurd assumptions.  The other reason I'm not going to cheer on Washington is only logical.  The whole thing was discredited in 2004,when the Redskins lost and George W. Bush won.  Go Steelers.

Two Realities-The Real One & the News Media

There are two realities in this country.  The first one is the one you, I and most Americans deal with on a daily basis.  The other is the fabrication of the News Media.

In our reality, we work, interact with our fellow Americans and try to improve our lives, while dealing with the frustrations and challenges of life.  We also deal with the endless possibilities of freedom.  Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas summed up this first reality when he said, "The dirty little secret about freedom is, you're on your own."  This can either be a challenge or a terrifying realization, depending on your personal perceptions and beliefs.  Those who are the happiest in America are the ones who are optimistic.  I adhere to this school of thinking, because of my background in sales, my experiences growing up in America and my trust in the native intelligence of the American people.

The second is a fabrication and the one shown over and over in the news.  There, everyone is alone, isolated, overwhelmed by the evils and unfariness of America.  It is a reality where everything is America's fault, where all evil is incarnate in our country and the world hates us.  Rag, rag, rag.

Tomorrow, we ignore the fabrications of the News Media and affirm our own.  I know it seems overwhelming, but we are not alone, we are Americans.

As Hamilton said in Federalist Paper No. 29 (the one concerning the militia and something every American should read and study), "Where in the name of common sense are our fears to end if we may not trust our sons, our brothers, our neighbors, our fellow citizens?  What shadow of danger can there be from men who are daily mingling with the rest of their countrymen; and who participate with them in the same feelings, sentiments, habits and interests?"  This reference was concerning the militia which is the whole of the people, according to George Mason.  It could just as well have been in regard to conservative Americans' ability (both men and women) to vote as free people and make an intelligent decision as far as who will lead us on a federal level in the White House and Congress.  They are both related to being an informed and active citizen. So, disregard the published polls, the media polls and exit polls.  Trust your native intelligence as a free American.

The President of France and the Media Blitz

We do not have to look very far for an example of how the News Media can be off the mark on a national election.

The French News Media was in awe of their own historic first, the election of the first woman, and a liberal to boot, to the office of President of France.  It was in the bag, a foregone conclusion, hell, it was public opinion.  Then Nicolas Sarkosy, a conservative, won the election and became President of France.  If the French can disregard and counter their own News Media's presumptions and biases, we can ignore our own News Mdia, their Media Blitz and their manufactured public opinion.

A case in point: there is a news report just announced on the radio, again, that there will be an election landslide for Obama.  They said the same thing in 2004 and every four years near Election Day.  They are also quoting margins in polls as high as 15% to 17% in favor of Obama.  Those polls should be disregarded simply because they are far outside the statistical variance in comparison to other polls indicating a close election.  Exit Polls will also be said to be highly in favor of Obama early tomorrow after the polls open.  In addition, in California, the largest blue state, the number of early ballots sent in only has a Democrat majority of around a thousand over the number of early Republican ballots.

Don't believe the spin, it will make you dizzy and turn you into a liberal.  The greatest weapons we have against the News Media are knowledge, a sense of the cyclical nature of history and a good memory.  Personally, I developed my memory because so many people have selective amnesia and are ealsily misled, crises to crises and election to election.  Think for yourself, remember and vote.

Obama, the Fraudulent President?

Are we not being asked to perpetuate a fraud?  We still know next to nothing about Obama, thanks to the News Media and the Democrat Party.  We are unlikely to find out anything in the next four days.

Is he a natural born American?  This was a legitimate question about McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone.  At first, I thought that question alone would disqualify McCain, but the issue was thoroughly pursued in the courts and MCCain was found to be a legitimate candidate.  There have been presidents whe were born on the frontier in U.S. territories who thus qualified as candidates for the office.  Even if Obama had been born in Hawaii a few years earlier, he would have been born in a territory, not a state, but he would still be a natural born citizen.  The issue is not trivial, except to liberals, because it is in the Constitution.

Will we receive the real document of his birth in time or the election.  No, the fix is in and his birth records have been sealed by the governor of Hawaii, a supposed Republican.  So far, this is the only example of Obama participating in a bipartisan effort, one that benefits him and further confounds the American people and the truth.

The issue is not the document itself being produced in time for the election.  It's the questions the issue arouses concerning his truthfulness and the possibility of fraud.

Let's look at this as a theoretical discussion.  As a supposed constitutional scholar, Obama would not be able to plead ignorence on the topic of his birth if he was born outside of the United States.  It's in the Constitution-Article II, Section 5, paragraph 5 "No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the Unitied States, at the time of the adoption of this constitution, shall be elegible to the office of the president".  Since no one is alive who was alive then, unless the Left wants to argue for the ongoing sanctity of life versus abortion, then only natural born citizens are elegible.  If he is covering up his foreign birth, is he not carrying on a fraud on the American people?  Is not the Democrat Party also guilty of a fraudulent act by not fully vetting the one candidate for president they have selected out of a country of 300,000,000 people?  Are the News Medai not co-conspirators in the smae fraud by not doing their job of investigating the Democrat candidate?  They are ruthlessly efficient in investigating private citizens like Joe the Plumber and the reporter in Florida because these mere plebeians dared to ask embarrassing questions.  They are zealots in their investigative assault on Sarah Palin, who is running for vice president.  If the fraud is real, are they not co-conspirators?

What is the effect of this act?  We elect a fraudelent, illegitimate candidate to the highest office in the world and we can get rid of him; except by impeaching him in the House of Representatives, then trying and convicting him in the Senate.  That will not happen in a Congress where both houses have clear Democrat control.  In 2010, we might take back the House, but can we impeach him?  Not likely.  The Senate will still not not even try him, if the Democrats maintain a large enough majority.

In the meantime, the Democrat Senate will be approving his judicial appointments.  Contrary to popular opinion, judges are not appointed for life.  According to the Constitution, they serve as long as they are in good standing.  In good standing has come to mean life time appointments, but it is not the same.  Even so, how can they be in good standing, if they were appointed by a fraudelent president.  That is a legal issue that may give us a chance, someday after we win big enough majorities in both houses, to impeach and remove them all from office, along with Obama.  But we can't count on it.  It's a simple argument, how can judges appointed by a illegitimate president by themselves legitimate?  Their appointment will be null and void because they were appointed by a president who is null and void, according to the Constitution.  So you think they, the judges and the Democrats in Congress, would consider that point?  In this theoretical discussion, would Obama protect and defend the Constitution?  If you believe that, I've got a great deal for you and all the other pigeons and punters on the purchase of the Brooklyn Bridge.  It's for sale, you know.  It's the truth, and the left is compassioanate.

So, how do we avoid this?  Don't vote him into office in the first place.  Don't allow him to get in on a loophole in the law, called fraud.  Vote for McCain/Palin and a mojority in the House of Representatives.  Winning a majority of the Senate seats up for election would be a treat.  Anything else could be criminal.

Overheard in Pittsburgh

I just happen to hear two union members discussing Obama's half hour commercial before the final game of the World Series.  It weems an indication of changing attitudes in the election.

"Did you see that thirty minute commercial for Obama before the game?" the first one scoffed.

"Yeah, where did he get all the money for it?" the other asked.

"Seems he's getting money coming in from everywhere."

"Is that like buying the election?" the second man suggested.

The election is not over.

Talking Ourselves Off the Ledge

A friend of mine called me yesterday.  He was worried sick about Obama winning and didn't know what to do.  So I talked him off the ledge he had worried himself onto, didn't make a post and find my post on the revolution starting on Nov. 4th was featured on Townhall.  That would have been reassuring not only to him, but to myself.  I am honored by being featured.  It was unexpected, and so encouraging, like a Republican win on election day.

Worry is fine, it's part of being alive and is certainly preferable to the alternative.  It also gives us an opportunity not to solve our problems, because we have crippled ourselves with doubt.  So, what had so unnerved him?  The news, which is not the news but propaganda from the Left.

Why should we justify the lies of the Left?  We do it by accepting their premise; in this case, the inevitability of Obama winning.  That will happen, if individually we do nothing and prove Burke's warning about letting evil happen.

A year ago the inevitable was a Hillary presidency, with Bill Clinton back in the White House as First Groper of the United States.  It didn't happen.  Four years ago it was the inevitability of John Kerry becoming the next president, as his campaign tried to intimidate Sinclair Broadcasting and the Swift Boaters for Truth over the broadcasting of a documentary.  The truth won out.  Eight years ago the Demagogs argued about the popular vote versus the electoral college.  Now the blue and red map I sited earlier of America is emphasising the Obama's advantage in the electoral college, with 255 votes out of 270 needed "solidly" for an Obama blue states victory.  If the electoral vote is so importatnt to the Left, for the moment, then the popular vote is too close and so Obama is vulnerable, not inevitable.  It's another example of the Gobblist News saying to themselves "How can we fool them today?"

When we turn out in large enough numbers on election day we will win the electoral college for McCain and Palin.  We can then shut up the popaganda machine for a while.  Nothing from the Left is inevitable.

Worry fools us, if we let it.  Propaganda does the same thing, and the news is an ongoing propaganda machine best ignored.  Worry is a substitute for working on what worries us.  Don't worry, vote.

Putting Lipstick on a Socialist

And you still have a socialist like Obama.  Only now are examples of Obama's thinking emerging through the News Media filter.  The two latest include a taped interview he had in 2003 where he talks about both positive and negative rights and the Constitution.  Only a socialist would see the restrictions on what the Federal government can do for us in the Constitution as "negative rights".  They are restrictions included in the document to restrict the power of the new government, imposed upon it by the people and the states, because the founders of this republic did not want an overbearing Federal government being imposed upon them.  Only a socialist would see these restrictions as negative impositions on the Federal government's overarching tendencies to grow and oppress the people as impediments to a government created utopia.  The word utopia was coined by Sir Thomas More (later St. Thomas More) in a story of the same name, by combining two Latin words which, together, means nowhere.  That is where the people end up under communism and socialism, with or without lipstick on the Big Brother of the moment.

Now Obama wants a new bill of rights.  Who are these new rights created for and on whom will they be enforced and imposed upon?  I have not heard the details, but the impositions will no doubt be shackled upon the producers in our society and made for the benefit of those (the liberally stupid) who feel entitled to our money and labor.  After all, Marx said it and Biden become enraged by hearing the mantra of the Left read to him by Barbara West in an interview in Florida because it is true.  "To each according to his needs, from each according to their means."  Socialists and communists are never satisfied with their wants and are always jealous of those with the means; which they will destroy once they gain control of those means from their producers.  Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez and Mugabe never learned from their own utopias forced up their subjects.  Neither will Obama, Biden and the rest of American Left.

Now, as a way to deflect any criticism of Obama, the phrase "socialism" is said by the Left to be code for black.  Since when did Hitler and Stalin have soul?

The Revolution Starts NOV. 4, 2008

The hardest thing to grasp in an election is, we are the deciding factor.  It is not the News Media, not the out of touch mob in Washington.  It's all our decision at the moment we vote.  There we make history, decide the fate of America and our republic.  No one can intimdate us as we cast our ballot.  Why allow anyone to intimidate us now?  But many will say "My one vote does not matter."

Every vote matters, has some effect on the outcome of any national election, particularly in close elections.  So do not throw away your chance to vote as a result of manufactured public opinion.  The 1976 election turned out to be one of the closest in history.  It was decided by approximately 50,000 votes across America.  I remember watching the returns that night and hearing a surprisingly frank admission from a reporter covering the results.  He said if just one person had voted differently in each precinct, the eletoral vote would have shifted and Ford would have won instead of Carter in the electoral college.  But  everyone (in the News Media) was saying, over and over, that we needed a change from Nixon and Watergate and eight years of Republican leadership for just enough people (living or dead, real or phantom) to elect Carter.  So we ended up with change, the same vague change promised again this year.  We ended up with arguably one of the worst presidents in our country's history and the Misery Index.  Don't let history repeat itself.

This year, the stakes are higher, but so is the need for our resolve.  Why should we reward Obama for his lies and ACORN for its systematic voter fraud?  The race is still close in several states and on a national level.  The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette published a map of America on the cover of yesterday's Sunday edition (10-26-08) showing the same general map the Media trots out every election year, along with their pompous assumptions and lack of color sence.  Pennsylvania, my home state, is shown in blue and declared to be solidly for Obama.  Pennsylvania is in play this year after Obama's comments accusing us of clinging to our faith and guns and having antipathy for those who are different.  No, Sen. Obama, it is your lack empathy or understanding for the people of Pennsylvania.  John Murtha also has shown a disconnect and lack of understanding of residents of Southwestern Pennsylvania, including his own constinuency as he accused us of being racist.  He is now in a race with a serious Republican challenger named Lt. Col. Bill Russell.  Perhaps his Johnstown area seat needs a change to a new representative of the people.  The state legislature is in need of a bit of house cleaning in both houses because of a bonus scandal among  Democrat members.

The map also shows Frlorida as a toss up state.  Bush won Florida overwehlmingly four years ago, after the Democrats tried to steal the election there in 2000.  That year, the contest was over Ohio, which Bush also won, with around 200,000 votes.  It's interesting to note that is about the same number of bogus new ballots ACORN has been charged with trying to register.  Ohio is, meanwhile, leaning toward McCain, not Obama, but still it is colored in light blue on the map and supposedly leaning Democrat.

This should not discourage us, nor should the polls.  Remember, there are three types of lies: a lie, a damn lie and statistics.  Polls are statistice which can be easily manipulated with garbage in, garbage out.

The only polls that matter are the election polls on election day.  In the polling booth, we decide, when we turn out in large enough numbers and surprise the News Media, who will say again America threw a hissy fit; just as they did in 1994 when we surprised them and made them throw their own hysterics.  Is it any wonder newspaper circulation, most for liberal papers, is down 4.6% in just the last six months.  I just heard that on the radio as I wrote this post.  Realize we are the majority, we decide on Nov. 4th and start a revolution to take back part of the Federal government, or we put up with the lies for the next four to eight years.

P.S.-In regard to the map, the emphasis is now on the electoral votes.  I thought the electoral votes didn't matter after Florida.  But it does now, which means the popular vote is close, so vote in your precinct and tip the electoral vote to elect McCain and Palin.  Don't believe the Gobblist News.  Be a contrarian to popular opinion and think for yourself.

These are the Good Old Days

No matter what the News Media has said the last eight years, the Bush Adminstration and economy will be seen as a golden age within two years compared to the fiasco of an Obama regime.  The ill-conceived perceptions of general opinion are now effected by Gobble's Law: "A lie told long enough and frequently enough becomes the truth."  This is the motto of the News Media.

The truth is, everything Obama and his followers want to force on the American people if they win are the very things which are causing the problem in the first place, and those are more government intervention.  Even President Bush is proving this point every time he tells the American public the government is doing everything they can to implement new government efforts.  It is not surprising that every time Bush mentions those government impositions, they cause downturns in the stock market.  He should remain mute on these points.

It is the very prospect of more government interventions and the potential for additional and ongoing economic distortions which are scaring the hell out the markets.  The prospect of an Obama Administration and its pure socialism edicts are really what are causing the ongoing fluctuations, not the solutions.  Once the Democrats are more firmly in power with control of all three houses, will they institutionalize misery in America and destroy the economy of not only America, but the world.  The worst part of this scenerio is the perpetuation of the lie that everything was caused by the free market, the mantra of the left.

The best thing we can do is not listen to the lies, but turn out in overwhelming numbers on Nov. 4th and stem the supposed tide.  We are the ones who have the power to choose at least some of those who represent ourselves in the government.  Conservatives turned the Republicans out two years years ago by not turning out in large numbers.  We are the  greatest variable in this election with our vote.  We need to turn out the bums in Congress and keep the Obamiacs out of the White House and the Executive Branch.  It is all in our hands and our minds, to preserve our rights and our prosperity.

Open Letter to McCain and Palin

Can we afford any more failed liberal policies?  Sen. McCain, name Dodd, Frank and company in every ad, including their titles, committes and their connections to the subprime scandal you were so presence to foresee years ago.  Nail them to the mortgage scandal every opportunity in your speeches.  At the same time, point out two of Obama's economic advisors, Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, both former heads of Fannie Mae, received tens of millions of dollars in compensation while driving it into the ground.  Demand they pay back the money to the American, call it a fine on the guilty.  They are two more albatrosses you can hang around his neck.

You cannot win this election adhering to political correctness, Obama has no qualms about pulling every trick on you.  He even has a new commercial about you, saying your policies will cost trillions of dollars, including misrepersenting the tax cuts; which are the source of the economic boom of the Bush Adminstration, until the congressional liberals brought about the present problems.  It's time you became combative and launch an all out frontal assault during these last two weeks.  Use clips from your speeches.  Don't wait till the final three days.  And yes, we like you feisty.

Joe Biden, obviously suffering from chronic foot in mouth disease, just gave you another campaign issue yesterday whe he said Obama will be tested soon by the world like Kennedy was (with Kennedy's handling of the Bay of Pigs, his first meeting with Krushchev and the Cuban missile Crises).  He said to mark his words, which I have, and admitted, in an oblique way, the obvious doubts everyone has about Obama's lack of resolve and ability in foreign affairs.  Was it not Biden who said the presidency is no place for on-the-job training?  Sometimes he's so conceited he's brilliant in retrospect.

As for Gov. Palin; keep up the fight and continue to pummel Obama and Biden.  You're devastating to both liberals and the News Media.  They literally have no idea how to handle either you or a man on the street like Joe the Plumber.  Continue to speak your mind and take no prisoners.  McCain made a brilliant decision when he chose you.  You are the main reason I'm sending in my contribution to the campaign for the surge.

                                                                                                                                                       Thank You

McMutton-Head is Moderately Stupid

McCain the Mutton-Headed tried to win equally mutton-headed moderates again in the last debate.  He did that at the expense of insulting his conservative base at the same time.  He knows we will support and vote for him on election day because the alternative is too horrific to even contemplate.  The question is, on election day, where will the moderates he is so slavishly pursuing be camping out for the day?  They'll be back home contemplating the liberal news spin on the results and still at a loss who to support.  Elections are not won by pandering to the perpetually unready but by motivating the electoral base and persuading just enough of other likely voters with a mental pulse to the truthfulness of your stand.

Even at the beginning of the Revolutionary War; only about a third of the American colonists supported  independence (the Patriots) while around one third supported staying with the British Empire (the Royalists).  The rest were milling around in the mutton-headed middle, like sheep in a pen waiting for a goat to lead them back to Royal rule and the slaughter of their ill-perceived liberties.

By the end of the war, the Revolutionary Patriots were triumphant and most of the moderates had been won over to the cause by the actions of the Founding Fathers.  The Royalists had lost, along with the British Empire.

The moderates didn't make it happen, the Patriots achieved the results by sticking to their principles, even as they sometimes disagreed among themselves.

Joining with moderates do not win elections, they are too unstable a base or an adjunct for victory.  You win by sticking to your game plan, your dedication and your character, along with a motivated base; while winning like minded likely voters to your cause.  McMutton-Head should learn from history, realize Obama is the goat and stop being the but of jokes about his mental capacity.
