Jesse Jackson and the Castrati

Jackson just got in trouble when he said he wanted to cut Obama's nuts off.  The news media fell over themselves, tap dancing around exactly what surgical procedure he was talking about.  We are not children; we know what he said and are enjoying his rare moment of political incorrectness.  He's welcome to the dog house with the rest of us, even though he's only visiting.

The questions are boundless, for something so constricting and neutralizing.  What implement will Jesse use; a knife, a sword or the guillotine?  Will Berry Obama recieve sick leave for the loss of his berries in his own national healthcare program?  Will he need a new nickname other than Berry?  Maybe we can call him Berry No Nuts.  Will he then hire John Edwards, after Edwards chases down his ambulance, to initiate a civil case?  Can he sue the manufacturers of the implement in question, the hospital and the doctors who treat him?  Can he demand a surgical reunion?  Failing that, will he become an advocate for those who have been shorchanged by life?  Then, he can say to the steers of America with rare sincerety "I feel your pain."

Can Obama donate those stray berries, in the spirit of bi-partisanship, to MCCain as the other straw man searches for his own ball bearings, a spine and his missing strawberries?  Will it all be resolved at the Democrat convention in Denver, the center of the diminishing range of the endangered Rocky Mountain Oysters?

Can this incident handicap Obama?  Well, he certainly won't be able to play poker without the straight nuts or nut draw for a winning hand in No-Limit Texas Hold'em, having nothing to hold, not even a pair.  He'd be short stacked, limited and cut off from the competition.

Hillary could then accomodate his alienated sub-committee members in her legendary Testicular Lock Box cited by Rush Limbaugh.  There, they can hang out with the other subdivided, subpoenaed pairs contributed by the political castrati, while their former owners sing her praises.

Jesse Jackson is the latest victim of the P.C. Police and was taken out of context.  The context in which Jackson was speaking at the time was his opinion that Obama talked down to black people.  Obama talks down to everyone, so does Jackson.

However, there are other opinions about Jackson's supposed faux pas.  Mike Gallagher, in his blog, pointed out that no one with that much experience hogging the mike is going to make such a mistake.

Did Jackson accidentally/deliberately let it slip, sorry to say, in order to keep himself in the news and engender (render, end gender, endanger or render genderless?) some sympathy for Berry as the victim of the moment?  Was he creating a little drama or tragedy in the political theater of the absurd called the Democrat party before the convention in an unconventional way?  It's all a farce we should laugh at, like its cast, and disregard it all until they're ready to run for the elections in November.

Sen. Graham is Right. It's all Mental.

Dr. Graham, an Economist, is right, the whiners wrong.  The recession is only in some people's whiny little heads, not in reality.  We have not had two successive quarters of economic decline; simply two quarters of whiners in the news media and the resonating chants of woe from their chorus among the Losers of America.  In the real Ameica, misery and a recession from life are all in the mind of the enfeebled.

My life is not perfect; I live in Pittsburgh, needless to say.  Here, I am surrounded by our own whiny politicians, union members, over educated liberal academics and college students.  We even had a demonstration featuring at least three medical students from the Pitt School of Medicine carrying signs saying, in effect, health care over profits.  They are medical students in school on someone else's dime, so they can be self-deluded.  Wait till they have to pay the loans back under Obam's restrictive national healthcare system; then they'll whine, demanding the government, the very source of their problems, to bail them out.  We are suffering from an epidemic of complaints and a suspension of personal effort, backed up by what the deluded read or hear in the news.

Unemployment is at 5.5%, a state of Nirvana in the later Clinton years, brought about by a Republican Congress after the Democrats lost both houses because of the massive tax increases during Bubba's first two years,  Then, life was bliss, the President a compassionate visionary overseeing a new, inspired golden age in its ascendancy; while the Republicans cut taxes, spending and Welfare without notice or praise.  Conservative Economics, like the truth, are so boring to those too lazy to dream for themselves.  At the same time, these economic principles bring to others dreams that they try, no mater how slowly, to bring into reality; while they tell the govenment to go to hell.  The fallacy to the first group's top down Socailism is their failure to realize the people in government are exactly like them, with cushy jobs on the taxpayers' dole, who have every icentive to do nothing.  The bureaucrats only motivate themselves enough to whine and hope for a change.  They want even more power and money under the new visionary, Osama Obama.

This is the chorus of malcontents all the news stories are geared toward.  It's simply to keep them complaining and making the rest of us uncomfotible because of their insistent idiocy.  Congratualtions to Dr. Phil Graham for analyzing them and showing them to be a nation of whiners.  They are, after all is said and done, a vocal minority fouling their immediate surroundings within a much larger nation of hard working Ameircans.  They are also an endless trove for satire and debunking.  They sure keep me busy, aggravating them to the point of derision and hearing them complain.  That is why I'm marked in Pittsburgh (Pgh for short) as a Conservative and a Republican.  As a Republican, I would like to recommend Dr. Phil (Graham, that is) to be put on the short list for VP.  The two candidates are too ignorant of Economics, too busy whinig to mind the store and neither will last long in office.  We don't need whiners, we need a sound backup to these two economic dolts.

A Big Wet Kiss to the Incompetent

How are libs in Congress qualified to bailout the sub prime scandal?  Simple, they're as incompetent as those they are bailing out.  The criteria to be a liberal is very low, all you have to be is more ill-informed and a bigger choader head than those you are are preaching against.  It's so reassuring to see tha the boobs in Congress still don't get it.  After causing the sub prime problem, they reward and hold blameless the very people who should never have received the loans in the first place.  Is it because they see kindred spirits in the incompetents who default?  Congressional liberals are always defaulting on their socialist programs, then demanding more money from us in the form of taxes in order to bail themselves out; even though the increased taxes reduce the frequency of activity and lead to less revenue from extortion than they predicted using static analysis.  Then why not bail out their equals in the general public to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars?  The House and the Senate are giving a big wet kiss to people who only received loans from lending institutions under pressure from Congress, who will now be rewarded for their failure later this week.  Call or email your Senator and representative throughout this week in order to defeat the wet kiss before it becomes law.  We did it, several times, during the defeats we gave to Congress during immigration reform.  The next step is to have the libs in Congress give their own buts a big wet kiss on the way out the door after November 5th.  Maybe the door smacking them on their buts and the back of their heads at the same time will actually stimulate competent thought at last.

7-4 to 9-11 to 11-5-Bad Times for Libs

July 4th reminded me of the never ending spirit of America, Obama's greatest enemy.  We can't believe the news media's propaganda propping up the designated liberal of the Democrat party; when we remember the extraodinary individuals and events, which created a single nation out of 13 desperate colonies and freed them from tyranny and a mad king.  No wonder Barack is now modifying his propaganda to appeal to the right, who are the true heart and center of America.  At the same time,we are impervious to his overtures and changes on any issue.  After all, the only change Obama delivers on is his now constant change on any position.  Then there are 9-11and election day coming up right behind it.

The 4th of July also reminds us of our proactive nature as Americans to take events in stride and try to change and effect them, instead of being victimized by them.  Four dollar a gallon gas is just the transient price we have to pay to continue working, not to be overwhelmed by it and blame the increase on the oil companies.  We know Congress, the Enviro Nazis and the summer driving season spike in demand are to blame for this temporary increase, which will disappear after the election, if Obama wins.  Conservative Americans are can-do individualists, the Left are a loose, unstable compound of spoiled brats without a clue and little cohesion, except their hatred of George W. Bush.  Obama has not been preaching to the choir, but to children at recess he hopes will organize themselves into an off-key chorus.  Now they're mad at him for trying to talk gibberish to the adults.  Barack the Brat is incapable of executing the transition to one from the other.  He is simply the embodiment of his constituents, spoiled children who feel they are entitlted to something, something owned and acquired by someone else.  We are entitled to nothing, except the opportunity to do something for ourselves.

September 11th (9-11) will be even more disruptive to the Democrat presidential candidate and quite a challenge.  How can someone, whose last name rhymes with the first name of the man who attacked us that day (and with whom he may share the same faith) be taken seriously as far as protecting a country he and his wife so hate?  If Obama got in trouble for making faces in Koranic studies while living in the largest Muslim country in the world (Indonesia) as he claimed in one of his books; how can he say now that he was never a Muslim?  Only Muslims have Koranic studies, so why not admit to being a Muslim before his conversion to Christianity?  That would be the truth, but the truth is elusive to Obama.  Perhaps it's because he would lose his endorsement by Muslim extremists like Al Qaeda.  This also brings up another question.  How can Muslim extremists endorse a convert to Christianity, the faith of the Crusaders?  Even Col. Qaddafi, the dictator of Lybia, has called him a Muslim.  September 11th will enlist even more spotlighting on his past and who his associates are or have been.  He will not survive the closer exminiation so close to the 5th of November.

On November 5th, when we go to the polls, can any of us with a mind vote for such a vacant candidate as Barack Obama?  We will still not know anything about him, and will not be able to trust him.  The job of the President of the United States, the Leader of the Free World, is too important to entrust to another unkown Democrat candidate, like Carter, Clinton or Obama.  Even those among us who may feel guilty to give Obama (and possibly Hillary) a chance in public, will still not vote for them in the privacy of the polling booth.  This is where the Left usually loses elections.  They come to believe their own press and are usually surprised by the outcome, as they were in 2000 and 2004.  At this point in each election, two to three months before election day, they had convinced themselves that their candidate, Gore and Kerry respectively, would win.  The same news media are trying to convince us about the same thing this time.  We will prove them wrong, again.

Lincoln was right, you can fool some of the people all the time (liberals) and you can fool all of the people some of the time (the Democrat leaders care about us) but you can't fool all of us all the time.  They certainly can't fool all of us on Independence Day, 9-11 or on Election Day.

Counting the Ways

What has the Democrat dominated Congress achieved since taking over in the last year and half?  Let me count the ways.

1) Endless investigations of, and hearings against the Bush Administration, usually on things the Democrats brought about themselves.

2) The sub prime scandal was not created by capitalist greed, but by political correctness and Congress forcing lending institutions to lend to people who could not qualify for loans at artificially low rates.  When the borrowers defaulted on those loans, the Democrats screamed for more investigations, but certainly not of themselves.  Now they want to reward people who took those loans by baling them out and blaming the loaning institutions.  No wonder the lenders are giving such good loan deals to Demagogs in Congress.

3) Drilling the oil companines in kangaroo court-like hearings.  This culminated in Maxi Chavez (Maxine Waters) proposing socilaizing the oil companie.  This is an excellent way to destroy the oil industry, as nationalized oil businesses in Mexico and Venezuela can attest.  Congress, like the leaders of those countires, can still blame all the resulting problems as being wrought by the oil companies before the takeovers.

4)  The pronouncement by someone on the left "All we have to do is grow more corn," was taken up by the Democrats without any knowledge of Economics.  There is only a finite amount of ariable land to grow crops on, and with more being put into corn cultivation for ethonol have decreased the production of other grains and food stocks.  The decreased production of wheat and rice, have driven up their prices, along with the price of corn from increased demand from ethonal.  How bad can ethanol be as a drain on food production?  It takes around 400 lbs. of corn, enough to feed a person for a year in the Third World, to destill enough ethanol to treat gasoline for a single tank full.  Why should those among us, who think they are entitled to everything and are at the same time above the laws they force on us; be at all concerned about the unforeseen ramifications of their actions?  Tell your favorite liberals the next time they fill up their SUV they have just killed someone in the Third World and watch them squirm, then explode into anger.  It's a lot of fun.

5) Democrats in Congress have raised the minimum wage, with no consideration for its two step effect on the economy.  Wages of those close to the minimum wage have to be increased, along with those at minimum wages, to keep these marginally higher paid individuals above the new minmum.  Wages of much higher paid, unionized hourly wage earners, are automatically increased because of pay clauses in union contracts so union workers will continue to make so many dollars and cents (which makes no sence) above minimum wage.  The increased labor costs naturally decrease the number of those hired for minimum wage because the return on the investment in increased production provided by minimum workers will be negligible.  The result from the first increase in the wage has already taken effect, as poor workers at minimum have been laid off and high school and college students just out of school for the summer find fewer jobs available.  This is already reflected in the .5% increase in unemployment to 5.5%.  One always preceeds the other.  We have a second increase in wages coming along from Congress in the near future with the second raise.  The government, either at the state or Federal level, should never have anything to do with setting the minimum wage, because their motivations are always political expediency, not Economics.  All we have to do is look at what happened in Argentina under President Peron and his socialist Peronists.  All the Peronists had to do was increase the minimum wage over and over to placate their poor supporters and give them the illusion of higher wages.  But the money was of less and less value, while the government printed more and more of it.  This resulted in hyperinflation and a collapse of the Argentinian economy, all as the ultimate price of government power.  Congress can make us all millionaires, by putting $1,000,000 a year as the minmum wage, printing more money to pay for it and cause inflaiton rates as high as those in Germany and Hungary in the 1920s and those seen today in Mugabe's Zimbabwe.

These are only a few of the most absurd achievements of the new Democrat dominated Congress, a dominance predicted to only get bigger after November 5.  No wonder the sign of the Democrat party is the jackass.

Triangulating Obama

Gen Clark says McCain being a fighter pilot and a P.O.W. for five years does not qualify him to be President.  Barack,  what did you do at the same time in your life?  It certainly wasn't being put through real torture.  Again, the liberal Democrats attack a Republican, turn a strength (in this case, of character and standing up to adversity) and try to deminish it to insignificance or into a liability by someone other than the Democrat candidate.  This allows the Democrat candidate to triangulate himself above it all, while letting his agents continue the attacks.  As good as Obama is with prepared rhetoric, he doesn't have the slick, smooth dance moves of  Bill Clinton and we are getting tired of the old "how can we fool them today" song and dance of the Left.  They have done this since the Clinton administration as they raise their candidate above the muck raking carried out by other liberals.  It's turning into its own form of a long range torture, of the truth.

Chicago Tibune, Read Hamilton

Thanks Lady Logician.  The Trib should read Hamilton, then extract communal head from their backside!  First, they need to fire their own editors for not checking with the founding fathers, instead of contemplaiting their navels from the inside.  There was no army of any magnitude at the time of the Constitutional Convention or during its ratification (see Federalist Paper 29, you idiots) and Hamilton emphasized the appointment of the officers of the militia exclusively by the states, another party to the Constitution along with the people, to placate the states' fears of the new Federal government possibly using the various state militias against the states by marching those militias state to state and against individual citizens.  Even before the Constitution, none of the then colonies had anything to do with the organizing of the Minute Men militias who faced the British at Lexington.  That was done, brace yourselves, by the individuals who stood up to the British Empire and started the War of Independence.  These citizens, the People of the United States, wanted to protect their natural right to keep and bear arms while at the same time possibly put together a national militia to at least supplement the army or be a substitute to and the best possible security against it (see my post on Reasonableness and the Courts from today just after 7PM and Lady Logician's post at about the same time).  Their right to keep and bear arms and to protect themselves and their neighbors proceeded the writing of the Constitution and were then formerly protected by the Second Amendment.  It's all about individual rights, just like the people today have the right not to listen to imbeciles like the one who wrote the article in question and the subpar editor who didn't properly fact check him.  No wonder the liberal newspapers are losing readership, the ailment is self-inflicted.  Shove away.

Reasonableness and the Courts

The Supreme Court this week threw out the D.C. gun ban, but only by a 5 to 4 ruling.  Justice Scalia, writing for the majority, said there is no ambiquity, gun ownership and thus the keeping and bearing of arms is an individual right.  Justice Scalia is right, because he and the other conservative justices are wise and learned justices who respect the Constitution, but not the four who voted for the gun band.   Justice Kenndy, again, was the swing vote, opening and closing on our rights.  The question is what took so long?  Since when can a power of a free people, as a group, a militia, not be the right of an individual militia man and be taken all the way to the Supreme Court to decide in a majority ruling?  In an Obama dominated court, will this individual right be so easily canceled by a simple majority of unelcted bureaucrats in robes?

The preamble to the Constition begins with "We the People of the United States of America, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice..."  Though it does not state every person, the individual is explicit, as he is in the Second Amendment.  The people and the individual have the right to keep and bear arms in order to self-drill himself and themselves in the use of weapons as part of the militia which, as its author George Mason said, "is the whole of the people" wherein the individual is still explicitly included in a right that was first protected in the Virginia Bill of Rights.

Now the Justices say gun control may be reasonable.  But what is reasonable when it comes to the Federal government?  If it took this long to confirm the clearly stated individual right in the Second Amendment, because of a distortion of semantics, leads me to ask the following question.  How can the Federal govenment be trusted with anything reasonable?  Hamilton allowed that no one could predict how the Congress would go about such control of guns as to safety in Federalist Paper 29.  Still, he and the other founders so concerned with individual liberty would not tolerate the constant assaults on this unalienable right by Congress and the courts.  The government has proved itself untrustworthy of that stewardship.  At least the members of the House and Senate are nominally elected by us.  However, safety does not mean infringing the individual's rights to the encroaching will of the Federal government.

We, the American people, have the ongoing duty to safeguard our right to guns and to protet ourselves against our own government.  Why else would Hamilton say, in Federalist Paper 29, in regard to the proposed army "that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people, while there is a large body of citizens little if at all inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow citizens (italics added)....the best possible security against it, if it should exist."   An armed citizenship is always the best counter balance to an ever expanding government.  The courts have no right, as unelected and unanswerable lawmakers, to even consider gun contol of any kind, or as arbiters of the self-evident and inalienalbe right to the keeping and bearing of arms by the individual citizens of America.  That right, the People and America all existed before the creation of the Fedral government and the Federal courts by the Constitution and will never be subsumed to them.

Population Doubles, Man Endangered Species

The world's population has doubled.  Sorry, we're still endangered.  The world's population of polar bears has also doubled in the same time and they have just been named an endangered species by the Inferior Dept.  According to that criteria, we are just as endangered.  With well over 50,000 polar bears alive today and considering the large ranges needed to support each solitary predator, as Andrews in Random Notes pointed out today, how can these big killers be considered threatened, let alone endangered?  There are in fact places in the world where there is a population explosion in polar bears, like the town of Chrchill in Canada where they are hanging out at the local dump and are growing fat on a man made smorgasbord.  How can they be endangered and living off human generosity?.

We need far less land per person to survive, and considering one in every three humans live in only two countries, Red China and India, isn't the rest of the world then underpopulated in comparison?  Where are the set asides of pristine lands for humans then?  Why, there's areas of the world, like the Sahara where they are very rare.  In Antarctica, where there is no permenent, breeding populations, humans are practically extinct and may be in the process of being crowded out by penguin urban sprawl.

We need to patition Congress (or is that partition Congress?) for huge set asides of pristine environments as natural game preserves, like the entire state of Nevada.  These game preserves will provide a sheltered environment for the growth of gambling venues, hotel accomidations, babes and beer for the highly endangered American Male, a subset of the human  species much maligned, hunted and harassed during the preceding thirty to forty years, to the point of extinction.  Don't forget the airconditioning, an American birthright, and plenty of water and ice so we can soak our heads from the hangovers engendered by our nightly mating activities in the local pickup sites called bars and casinos.  We also need to set aside vast tracts of endless buffets to feed and satiate the same endangered group.

Congress has already provided such funding, and yet they don't even know it.  The brothels in Nevada's counties of less than 400,000 endangered humans are really hurting and need immediate attention or it may be too late.  The local brothels' main customer base are truckers, who are making less visits because of the increased cost of fuel brought about by the same unfeeling Congress.  This is all according to something I heard on the radio, which turned me into an advocate for change.  We can choose now to have the audacity of hope, and Congress has stumbled upon it.  Many of the truckers have been using their new, $600 government checks sent to them by the same Congress to pay for the services.  Some enlightened brothels, in tune with the needs of this endangered group, are even offering two for one specials-twice the mating activities at the same price.  Well, they are stimulant checks, after all.  Humans need more stimulation, or we just might die out.

The salution is obvious.  If we want to solve this impending disaster, we need more natural human game preserves, watering holes and breeding programs with smorgasbords of activities and endless buffets.  More Texas Hold'em tournaments would be just jiffy.  If man made generosity can save the polar bears at the Churchill dump and increase their numbers, it can save us as well.  Call your congressman today and demand more funding for this new, crucial program.  Sometimes, environmental activism makes sence, now deal while I order the next round.

The Irrelevant Charlatan and the Politics of Race

Imus is in trouble again and Al Sharpton is passing judgment.  Why is the Irrelevant Charlatan in charge of race relations?  Rev. Al excoriated Imus the last time.  He also turned a girl's fib about staying out late into a racial side show and trial.  The insignificant  Al then caused the Fashion Mart incident and is now being investigated for some of his tactics.  So why is anyone giving a man with such a racist and opportunistic past any credibility as an advocate for racial justice and compassion?  He is part of the trouble, while the media allows him to fester on the edge of American thought.  Rev. Al has to be feeling pretty irrelevant (he is) and needs something to rant on about.  Imus is almost as insignificant and will not gain a thing by submitting himself to someone who has no standing on the issue.  Or is Sharpton simply trying to become the newest associate or barker of the Obama campaign until it closes down?

Obama, the Shill du Jour

Old Morley, from "60 Minutes", apparently got in trouble when he said he didn't like interviewing the female teen idol "**** du Jour" or wanton woman of the day.  The news media turned on him, but to his credit, he proved indifferent to the criticism, stood up to the uproar and would not apologize.  Why should he do any different?  It's his opinion, and when you're right, you never need to apologize.

Does this apply to candidates for President?  Yes.  All the final Democrat candidates for the office since LBJ and HHH(or talk, talk, talk)have been the Shill du Jour.  Carter, Mondale, what's his name from Boston, Clinton, Gore, Kerry and now Obama have all been unknown entities, empty suits coming out of left field with the full Gobbelist Press propaganda machine clearing the way toward the White House.  History is on our side, only Clinton (that's Bubba, not Hillary) has ever won with the media's assumed inevitability.  Clinton's victories were more a result of his skill with lies, covering for those lies and his persona honed by constantly running for governor of Arkansas than as a result of the media propaganda machine.  George Will may have it right when he said Bill Clinton is not only an empty suit but is also mono maniacal (that is, he has no real thought moment to moment.  In other words, there is nothing there.)  Those afflictions, however, didn't stop Bill Clinton from being elected, twice.

Even so, the full court press is on once again.  This time, having been primed to the vaporous qualities of their candidates, we are now further constrained by being told endlessly not to ask any background questions about Brat Obama, or we might hurt the poor little guy.  Too bad, he is running for the highest job of the land and the most important one in the world.  We have the right to find out of what he is made of, if anything.  What are his qualifications, experience, judgment, associates, his background?  Remember F.O.B., or Friends of Bill?  F.O.B. turned out to stand more for something like Felons on Board.  What about F.O.A., or Fellow Odious Abominations?  What ever happened with gravitas?  We can not use his middle name, ask about his Muslim past, his association with known terrosists (Ayres and wife) and other errors of judgement, even the validity of his supposed birth certificate.  We'll ask any question we wish about someone who wants to be elected President.  With a Democrat political shill running for the office, that would be change we can live with in the end.

Texas Tea Party

A new TV series premiered Wednesday night, 6-18-08 called "Black Gold", which may help to strengthen our argument for increased drilling and concerns three oil rigs along with their drilling teams in West Texas.  It's from the same producers of "The Deadliest Catch", the most popular non-fiction show on cable.

Along with "Ice Road Truckers" and "AxeMen" and a another one on lobster men off the coast off Cape Cod, these shows highlight the tenacity of free enterprise in fulfilling economic demands, even with government over burden, rules and regulations hampering their every step.  In addition,"Ice Road Truckers" this year is all about supplying gas wells and related facilities in the Arctic Ocean off the northern coast of Canada where trucks drive over a frozen ocean without a net, social or otherwise.  For all its socialized medicine and the absence of a First Amendment, the Canadian government seems to have less restrictions on natural gas exploration than America, including the drilling for something new called gas hydriants (consisting of methane gas frozen among ice crystals in permafrost).  Another interesting detail is the wells on land are set up and taken down every year on snow and ice covering the native tundra, the same techniques proposed for ANWR and not alowed by Congress.

These ultimate reality TV series show the problems, the frustrations, triumphs and accomplishments of capitalists and their crews of poor, exploated workers (most of whom make anywhere from $50,000 to over $100,000 per anum) primarily on straight commision.  They only eat what they kill.  The price to pay on dealiest catch also includes whole days of constant fishing.  Congress only kills incentive and achievement among the American people, while some of their members make extra money on special interests through their own form of commision, called extortion, in a national protection racket.

Only the roughnecks in West Texas receive any hourly compensation because of the high number of dry wells which need to be drilled to create a producing well.  Even in "Black Gold" the roughnecks make that shortcoming up by further exploiting themsleves through overtime and bonuses, to the tune of $70,000 for worms (green horns) and over $100,000 for experienced drillers a year.  Aren't these supposed to be the jobs Americans won't do?  Where's the minimum wage on a oil well,a fishing boat, a truck or a mountainside?  If you give people, either Americans or Canadians, a chance through free enterprise and opportunity; it's amazing how much they will work to improve their situation in life.  Whether they're paid hourly plus OT plus bonus, by the pound for king or snow crab or lobster (about $5.00 per pound), by the truckload over ice or loads of of at $100.00 for each forty foot log shipped to the sawmills (or $2.50 a foot), it's amazing how many people will assume the risk, along with their employers, to make money without any guarantee.

In the premieres for "AxeMen" were excerpts from loggers talking about their job.  One was a man with only part of one arm who scoffed at his misfortune and said it was of no importance, you just take it like a man and keep working.  I wondered how he could find work with only part of one hand and arm.  I needn't worry. he was not only a logger, but owned his own company, shipped more truckloads of logged timber than any other crew and was a millionaire.  If only Congress had such guts.

The solution to most of our needs, including oil, is pretty straight forward.  The government has to allow the unplugging of old wells, not combat the drilling of new ones in the western states or ANWR, allow the unleasing of the energy of the people through free enterprise and leave the people alone.  Otherwise, it's going to be one hell of modern day tea party against an unresponsive government.

Dear Fruit Loop Supremes: Where's the Amendment?

I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV.  Often lawyers play politicians on TV, most in Congress, some in robes.  Neither do I or most lawyers and judges today possess the same enlightened genius of the Founding Fathers; most of whom did not have college degrees.  I have earned a college degree from a major university and have worked as a paralegal in the company of lawyers in the past.  Luckily, I'm in rehab and dealing as best I can with both traumatic events in my life.  Even with such limitations, may I ask an obvious question.  Where is the Amendment to the Constitution making enemy combatants American citizens?  My rant today is against the five fruit loop supremes who have given the enemy combatants at Gitmo the right to trial in, or at least appeal to American civil courts.

This right of enemy combatants to habeous corpus is not found in the 5th, 14th or 19th Amendments.  All three Amendtments deal with citizens of the United States ("person" in the 5th Amendment being the singular of people, as in "We the people of the United States, in oder to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice...." in the preamble to the Constitution.  Being a member of the Militia is a right also reserved to citizens).  Enemy combatants are neither citizens, as defined by the Constitution and its Amendments, nor are they the various states, nor the Federal government.  Since they are not a party to the Constitution, they have no Constitutional rights at all.  So why raise them to the same standing as full citizens?  Citizenship has its rights, obligations (taxes with little representation) and privileges not available to non-citizens.  Constitutional rights can never be so lightly applied to those who have no stake in the Constitution.  This week, the fruit loop supremes have also given increased rights of appeal to our courts to illegal aliens.

As citizens, what can we do with such judicial stupidity?  We can petition the House of Representatives for redress of these grievances and demand they impeach the justices in question and the other activist judges in Federal system, like certain judges on the Ninth Circus Clowns of Appeal, and then have them tried, hopefully convicted and removed from office by the Senate.  That is not likely with the present Democrat dominated Congress and will be less likely after the election if they win larger majorities.  Some would object, saying  judges have lifetime appointments.  There is no provision in the Constitution for lifetime appointments of judges.  Obvious assaults on the Constitution, as well as a deliberate usurpation and encroachment on the powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief by the supremes, and the activisim of Ninth Circus judges who violate the 9th and 10th Amendments do not constitute these judges being "in good standing" according to the Constitution or "in good behavior" (Federalist Paper 78 by Hamilton).  If we can regain control of both houses with large enough and conservative enough majorities without losing the Presidency, we would be able to do something else.  We would then be able to have Congress restrict the scope of the courts' jurisdiction and the scope of what the courts can do.  Congress has that Constitutional right over the courts.  Quite simply, not everything is a Federal case for insolated and budding politicians in robes.

La Raza and Racism

Just when Obama proves himself an idiot, McCain proves his equal.  They have both accepted invitations to appear at the La Raza convention in July.  Now McCain proposes having a town hall type debate between the two of them at the event.  For what reason?  To pander to a racist organization?  La Raza is Spanish for "The Race" and is supposedly an advocacy group for Hispanics, specifically those of Mexican descent.  "The Race" in the name are the mixed race mestizos of Mexico who make up three quarters of the population of Mexico.  They are of both American Indian and white European descent who should be the last people to insist on a racist name for an advocacy group who supposedly promotes their race over others.  But when you're racists, why confuse yourself with facts?

The reason for both candidates being at this meeting is because even they are pursuing a false premise.  Hispanics are now supposedly the largest racial minority group in the country, according to the media.  But the media lies to us, including redefining a phrase like "Hispanic" and fabricating it into a social shorthand, a catch-all phrase that can mean almost anything.  Originally, Hispanic means someone descended of the aboriginal peoples of the Iberian peninsula consisting of the nations of Spain and Portugal.  Now, it has been expanded to the point it can encompass anyone from white Basques and famous Spaniards like Fernando Lamas and Antonio Bandares, to Cubans, to Filipinos to the people of East Timor.  Where is the significance of "La Raza" in the defining of Hispanic, which has become a linquistic and cultural definition?  It is now simply a convenient weapon to feed the guilt of liberal racist whites.  The largest "Hispanic" country in the world is a racially diverse and mixed country where the majority of the people speak Portugese, not Spanish.  It's called Brazil.

The question now to consider is as followed.  How can an organization like La Raza be the proper forum of a debate in such a racially sensitive, pardon the phrase, race for the White House?  So much for hyper-sensitive racial awareness.  It is the awareness of the racist and the senseless among us.  If you are a mestizo of mixed race descent, how can you be in perpetual hatred by half of your ancestry against the other half of your ancestry?  The Spanish Conquest can not be undone.  It has wrought many changes in the world, including your own life.  To waste your life hating the very thing that has brought you into existence is to waste that life.

La Raza feeds on false premises, while it looks for a mythological ancestral home of Aztlan in, suprise suprise, the Southwestern United States.  It might be in Mexico, but the white oligarchy that has ruled the country for 500 hundred years would never allow La Razza to get away with the legal actions "the race" is trying to pull off in this country.  Their other potential ancestral home is in the Iberian penisula, but those lands do not have naything like all that valuable real estate in America; like California,Texas, McCain's Arizona and Las Vegas.  If Aztlan exists, it exists not far distant from the Valley of Mexico in Mexico where the Aztecs' chichimec ancestors roamed before gladly giving up those lands when entering the valley they would eventually subjegate as conquistidors themselves.  History thus puts the lie to La Raza's own self loathing.  Racism only has to depend on misconceptions and propaganda to extract money and property for a minority of leaders in any self-declared and self-defined group.

Now, have mestizos themselves oppressed other people?  Yes, in the neghboring country of Guatemala (which means "The Thicket") there is a thorny situation where the ruling classes are made up, not of whites, but mestizos who have oppressed the Mayan Indians in their own country, even though the mestizos in question are of partial Mayan descent as well.

Can such self loathing, such hatred of part of ones' ancestry be so easily enraged and then directed toward the supposed villians in one's own ancestry?  Yes, there was a man who was so consumed with fears he might have some inferior ancestry he killed millions of supposed men and women, possible relatives, to assuage his liberal guilt through a socialist, state run program of murder.  His name was Adolph Hitler.  Can La Raza be any better or, at the same time, be pandered to for a terribly flawed misconception?

McCain and Obama should not debate each other at the La Raza convention, they both need to debate against the racist tendencies of La Raza.  Being Senators from the over rated, pompous, politically correct debating society called the U.S. Senate, I doubt they will even consider it.  The reason is simple, racism and ignorence are self-perpetuating.

Obama-A New Faith For the Deaniacs

All this religious obsession about Obama should not be surprising.  He gives faith to the faithless, just as Howard Dean gave a false sense of faith to the same people four years ago.  The only difference is, the media generated hysteria is peaking later in the campaign season.  In the end, Obama will not win, because it will not last.

His momentum is already slagging.  He won only a few of the latest primaries over Hillary as details of those who associate with him stained him with their presence.  Liberals always try to confuse and intimidate us with their initial and overwhelming assault of halftruths and lies, convinced they are right; but those who are always wrong can't sustain themselves.  This gives us time to contradict their propaganda and offer counter attacks backed up by facts from the real world.

Do not be dismayed by all the fluff in the news.  There are two realities in this world, the reality we experince on a day to day basis and the alternative fantasy presented by the news media, the Democrat leadership and Hollywood  Their world has no substance, unless we give them any credense.  They will lose their faith with their new savior soon enough, just as they did with Dean.
