Talking Ourselves Off the Ledge

A friend of mine called me yesterday.  He was worried sick about Obama winning and didn't know what to do.  So I talked him off the ledge he had worried himself onto, didn't make a post and find my post on the revolution starting on Nov. 4th was featured on Townhall.  That would have been reassuring not only to him, but to myself.  I am honored by being featured.  It was unexpected, and so encouraging, like a Republican win on election day.

Worry is fine, it's part of being alive and is certainly preferable to the alternative.  It also gives us an opportunity not to solve our problems, because we have crippled ourselves with doubt.  So, what had so unnerved him?  The news, which is not the news but propaganda from the Left.

Why should we justify the lies of the Left?  We do it by accepting their premise; in this case, the inevitability of Obama winning.  That will happen, if individually we do nothing and prove Burke's warning about letting evil happen.

A year ago the inevitable was a Hillary presidency, with Bill Clinton back in the White House as First Groper of the United States.  It didn't happen.  Four years ago it was the inevitability of John Kerry becoming the next president, as his campaign tried to intimidate Sinclair Broadcasting and the Swift Boaters for Truth over the broadcasting of a documentary.  The truth won out.  Eight years ago the Demagogs argued about the popular vote versus the electoral college.  Now the blue and red map I sited earlier of America is emphasising the Obama's advantage in the electoral college, with 255 votes out of 270 needed "solidly" for an Obama blue states victory.  If the electoral vote is so importatnt to the Left, for the moment, then the popular vote is too close and so Obama is vulnerable, not inevitable.  It's another example of the Gobblist News saying to themselves "How can we fool them today?"

When we turn out in large enough numbers on election day we will win the electoral college for McCain and Palin.  We can then shut up the popaganda machine for a while.  Nothing from the Left is inevitable.

Worry fools us, if we let it.  Propaganda does the same thing, and the news is an ongoing propaganda machine best ignored.  Worry is a substitute for working on what worries us.  Don't worry, vote.

Putting Lipstick on a Socialist

And you still have a socialist like Obama.  Only now are examples of Obama's thinking emerging through the News Media filter.  The two latest include a taped interview he had in 2003 where he talks about both positive and negative rights and the Constitution.  Only a socialist would see the restrictions on what the Federal government can do for us in the Constitution as "negative rights".  They are restrictions included in the document to restrict the power of the new government, imposed upon it by the people and the states, because the founders of this republic did not want an overbearing Federal government being imposed upon them.  Only a socialist would see these restrictions as negative impositions on the Federal government's overarching tendencies to grow and oppress the people as impediments to a government created utopia.  The word utopia was coined by Sir Thomas More (later St. Thomas More) in a story of the same name, by combining two Latin words which, together, means nowhere.  That is where the people end up under communism and socialism, with or without lipstick on the Big Brother of the moment.

Now Obama wants a new bill of rights.  Who are these new rights created for and on whom will they be enforced and imposed upon?  I have not heard the details, but the impositions will no doubt be shackled upon the producers in our society and made for the benefit of those (the liberally stupid) who feel entitled to our money and labor.  After all, Marx said it and Biden become enraged by hearing the mantra of the Left read to him by Barbara West in an interview in Florida because it is true.  "To each according to his needs, from each according to their means."  Socialists and communists are never satisfied with their wants and are always jealous of those with the means; which they will destroy once they gain control of those means from their producers.  Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez and Mugabe never learned from their own utopias forced up their subjects.  Neither will Obama, Biden and the rest of American Left.

Now, as a way to deflect any criticism of Obama, the phrase "socialism" is said by the Left to be code for black.  Since when did Hitler and Stalin have soul?

The Revolution Starts NOV. 4, 2008

The hardest thing to grasp in an election is, we are the deciding factor.  It is not the News Media, not the out of touch mob in Washington.  It's all our decision at the moment we vote.  There we make history, decide the fate of America and our republic.  No one can intimdate us as we cast our ballot.  Why allow anyone to intimidate us now?  But many will say "My one vote does not matter."

Every vote matters, has some effect on the outcome of any national election, particularly in close elections.  So do not throw away your chance to vote as a result of manufactured public opinion.  The 1976 election turned out to be one of the closest in history.  It was decided by approximately 50,000 votes across America.  I remember watching the returns that night and hearing a surprisingly frank admission from a reporter covering the results.  He said if just one person had voted differently in each precinct, the eletoral vote would have shifted and Ford would have won instead of Carter in the electoral college.  But  everyone (in the News Media) was saying, over and over, that we needed a change from Nixon and Watergate and eight years of Republican leadership for just enough people (living or dead, real or phantom) to elect Carter.  So we ended up with change, the same vague change promised again this year.  We ended up with arguably one of the worst presidents in our country's history and the Misery Index.  Don't let history repeat itself.

This year, the stakes are higher, but so is the need for our resolve.  Why should we reward Obama for his lies and ACORN for its systematic voter fraud?  The race is still close in several states and on a national level.  The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette published a map of America on the cover of yesterday's Sunday edition (10-26-08) showing the same general map the Media trots out every election year, along with their pompous assumptions and lack of color sence.  Pennsylvania, my home state, is shown in blue and declared to be solidly for Obama.  Pennsylvania is in play this year after Obama's comments accusing us of clinging to our faith and guns and having antipathy for those who are different.  No, Sen. Obama, it is your lack empathy or understanding for the people of Pennsylvania.  John Murtha also has shown a disconnect and lack of understanding of residents of Southwestern Pennsylvania, including his own constinuency as he accused us of being racist.  He is now in a race with a serious Republican challenger named Lt. Col. Bill Russell.  Perhaps his Johnstown area seat needs a change to a new representative of the people.  The state legislature is in need of a bit of house cleaning in both houses because of a bonus scandal among  Democrat members.

The map also shows Frlorida as a toss up state.  Bush won Florida overwehlmingly four years ago, after the Democrats tried to steal the election there in 2000.  That year, the contest was over Ohio, which Bush also won, with around 200,000 votes.  It's interesting to note that is about the same number of bogus new ballots ACORN has been charged with trying to register.  Ohio is, meanwhile, leaning toward McCain, not Obama, but still it is colored in light blue on the map and supposedly leaning Democrat.

This should not discourage us, nor should the polls.  Remember, there are three types of lies: a lie, a damn lie and statistics.  Polls are statistice which can be easily manipulated with garbage in, garbage out.

The only polls that matter are the election polls on election day.  In the polling booth, we decide, when we turn out in large enough numbers and surprise the News Media, who will say again America threw a hissy fit; just as they did in 1994 when we surprised them and made them throw their own hysterics.  Is it any wonder newspaper circulation, most for liberal papers, is down 4.6% in just the last six months.  I just heard that on the radio as I wrote this post.  Realize we are the majority, we decide on Nov. 4th and start a revolution to take back part of the Federal government, or we put up with the lies for the next four to eight years.

P.S.-In regard to the map, the emphasis is now on the electoral votes.  I thought the electoral votes didn't matter after Florida.  But it does now, which means the popular vote is close, so vote in your precinct and tip the electoral vote to elect McCain and Palin.  Don't believe the Gobblist News.  Be a contrarian to popular opinion and think for yourself.

These are the Good Old Days

No matter what the News Media has said the last eight years, the Bush Adminstration and economy will be seen as a golden age within two years compared to the fiasco of an Obama regime.  The ill-conceived perceptions of general opinion are now effected by Gobble's Law: "A lie told long enough and frequently enough becomes the truth."  This is the motto of the News Media.

The truth is, everything Obama and his followers want to force on the American people if they win are the very things which are causing the problem in the first place, and those are more government intervention.  Even President Bush is proving this point every time he tells the American public the government is doing everything they can to implement new government efforts.  It is not surprising that every time Bush mentions those government impositions, they cause downturns in the stock market.  He should remain mute on these points.

It is the very prospect of more government interventions and the potential for additional and ongoing economic distortions which are scaring the hell out the markets.  The prospect of an Obama Administration and its pure socialism edicts are really what are causing the ongoing fluctuations, not the solutions.  Once the Democrats are more firmly in power with control of all three houses, will they institutionalize misery in America and destroy the economy of not only America, but the world.  The worst part of this scenerio is the perpetuation of the lie that everything was caused by the free market, the mantra of the left.

The best thing we can do is not listen to the lies, but turn out in overwhelming numbers on Nov. 4th and stem the supposed tide.  We are the ones who have the power to choose at least some of those who represent ourselves in the government.  Conservatives turned the Republicans out two years years ago by not turning out in large numbers.  We are the  greatest variable in this election with our vote.  We need to turn out the bums in Congress and keep the Obamiacs out of the White House and the Executive Branch.  It is all in our hands and our minds, to preserve our rights and our prosperity.

Open Letter to McCain and Palin

Can we afford any more failed liberal policies?  Sen. McCain, name Dodd, Frank and company in every ad, including their titles, committes and their connections to the subprime scandal you were so presence to foresee years ago.  Nail them to the mortgage scandal every opportunity in your speeches.  At the same time, point out two of Obama's economic advisors, Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, both former heads of Fannie Mae, received tens of millions of dollars in compensation while driving it into the ground.  Demand they pay back the money to the American, call it a fine on the guilty.  They are two more albatrosses you can hang around his neck.

You cannot win this election adhering to political correctness, Obama has no qualms about pulling every trick on you.  He even has a new commercial about you, saying your policies will cost trillions of dollars, including misrepersenting the tax cuts; which are the source of the economic boom of the Bush Adminstration, until the congressional liberals brought about the present problems.  It's time you became combative and launch an all out frontal assault during these last two weeks.  Use clips from your speeches.  Don't wait till the final three days.  And yes, we like you feisty.

Joe Biden, obviously suffering from chronic foot in mouth disease, just gave you another campaign issue yesterday whe he said Obama will be tested soon by the world like Kennedy was (with Kennedy's handling of the Bay of Pigs, his first meeting with Krushchev and the Cuban missile Crises).  He said to mark his words, which I have, and admitted, in an oblique way, the obvious doubts everyone has about Obama's lack of resolve and ability in foreign affairs.  Was it not Biden who said the presidency is no place for on-the-job training?  Sometimes he's so conceited he's brilliant in retrospect.

As for Gov. Palin; keep up the fight and continue to pummel Obama and Biden.  You're devastating to both liberals and the News Media.  They literally have no idea how to handle either you or a man on the street like Joe the Plumber.  Continue to speak your mind and take no prisoners.  McCain made a brilliant decision when he chose you.  You are the main reason I'm sending in my contribution to the campaign for the surge.

                                                                                                                                                       Thank You

McMutton-Head is Moderately Stupid

McCain the Mutton-Headed tried to win equally mutton-headed moderates again in the last debate.  He did that at the expense of insulting his conservative base at the same time.  He knows we will support and vote for him on election day because the alternative is too horrific to even contemplate.  The question is, on election day, where will the moderates he is so slavishly pursuing be camping out for the day?  They'll be back home contemplating the liberal news spin on the results and still at a loss who to support.  Elections are not won by pandering to the perpetually unready but by motivating the electoral base and persuading just enough of other likely voters with a mental pulse to the truthfulness of your stand.

Even at the beginning of the Revolutionary War; only about a third of the American colonists supported  independence (the Patriots) while around one third supported staying with the British Empire (the Royalists).  The rest were milling around in the mutton-headed middle, like sheep in a pen waiting for a goat to lead them back to Royal rule and the slaughter of their ill-perceived liberties.

By the end of the war, the Revolutionary Patriots were triumphant and most of the moderates had been won over to the cause by the actions of the Founding Fathers.  The Royalists had lost, along with the British Empire.

The moderates didn't make it happen, the Patriots achieved the results by sticking to their principles, even as they sometimes disagreed among themselves.

Joining with moderates do not win elections, they are too unstable a base or an adjunct for victory.  You win by sticking to your game plan, your dedication and your character, along with a motivated base; while winning like minded likely voters to your cause.  McMutton-Head should learn from history, realize Obama is the goat and stop being the but of jokes about his mental capacity.

The Stupid Congress and the Council of Clouds

Obama blew it on Friday, just as Napolean blew it before the Council of Clouds in the French Revolution.  In both cases, a supposed savior was presented with the chance to take over the government of a nation state.  Both failed to rise to the occassion.

Napolean, as an artillery officer, had previously defended the Council of Clouds against a gathering mob in the streets of Paris threatening the struggling government of France with what he described as "A whiff of grapeshot" and dispersed the crowd.  The Council of Clouds were eventually willing to hand over the leadership of the government to "The Little Corporal".  All Napolean had to do was give one little speech, which he flubbed.   Not one to miss out on his opportunity and his moment of destiny, he led the first coup in history the next day and took over the government by force.

Obama, another megalomaniac, had his moment of greatness on Friday, after being primed and briefed, inside the White House, in the Cabinet Room.  But Obama, after promoting the liberal cause in the streets along with ACORN before mobs of protesors, while utilizing not a "Whiff of Grapeshot" but a continuous "Barrage of B.S.", was unable to deliver.  He pulled up lame and blew his chance, by blowing up the meeting, literally, and ruined the moment.

The difference is, the coup did not come the next day, backed up with guns and grapeshot.  It almost came about today; through a vote in the House of Representatives.  It ended up short of the mark; for which I have to make this marked reveiw.  Even as a minority, the conservative Republicans in the House, along with the conservative majority of the electorate, were able to stop what seemed to be the inevitable.  The conservative House Republicans were not even needed to pass the legislation, and still the bill, or the bull failed.  The Stock Market then dropped over 700 points, proving even a whipped Pavlov dog will whimper in sympathize with its abusive master when denied a bone.

Imagine what we can do if we were to win a clear conservative majority in the House and the Senate in November?  Even a thin majority in each house, though it would lead to stalemate, would at least remove Pavlov (sorry, Pelosi), Reid, Rangel and Frank from their leaderships on congressional committees or the speakership.   This is a representative republic, even idiots need to be represented and will continue to elect fellow idiots from their liberal districts or states to Congress.  The aforesaid lead morons in the Stupid Congress cannot be voted out of office, but they can lose their leadership, and be removed from thier own Councils of Clouds.  Keep up the good work through the November 4th election.  We do that by continuing to assail our congressmen and senators to listen to the people; at least those informed and knowledgeable about the difference between whiffs of clouds and real substance in the Congress and the White House Cabinet Room.

Holding Out Against the Idiocy

Again, the conservative Republicans in the House are doing the right thing.  They're holding out against the idiotic hysteria of the moment and the full court press of the Democrat leadership.  The sub prime fiasco has been a long time in coming to its disastrous culmination for it to be decided so decisivley in favor of those who created it.

It is time for more sober, and logical people to speak, even if they are the minority in the Democrat controlled Congress.  There was no agreement yesterday, no bipartisan suicide pact.  In truth, the Democrats do not need the Republicans at all to pass the bailout of something of their own creation; unless it was an example of C.T.A. for the guilt laden Democrats.  Let them hang themselves.  But the Democrats are not known for their bravery when having to admit they are wrong.  Their need for Republican cover is glaring and should not be given.

Instead, the Republican conservatives in the House need to demand a smaller, less introsive bill based only on the mortgages in default without the lower, mark to market estimations contributing to the bloated 700 billion dollars price tag.  At the same time they need to lay the blame on the Democrat leadership and demand the FBI focus their investigation on them.

As the bill was originally structured, Congress would end up with buying up far more good mortgages than bad for that 700 billion dollars (paid by the taxpayers).  They can eventually turn around and could realize a profit of over 1 trillion dollars when they sell the paper they had escorted back to the private sector.  All of this brought about by nationalizing a sizeable chunk of the financial market.  You see, socialism works, when you are the government and can do it over and over again to cover up for the problems you create; in this case to satisfy moronic assumptions of political correctness.  The other suggestion of the government to buy up stock (whether in first or second position) in the same financial institutions, at present bargain basement prices, constitutes another form of nationalization and would also set the same dangerous models for later raids on the private sector.

Stand your ground, conservatives, demand the FBI investigate the Democrats, call your congressmen and senators as we did in the Immigration Reform Bill, while supporting the Republican conservatives in the House.  Remember, it's the Stupid Congress, again.  Even McCain eventually listened to and learned form us and went to Washington this week to fight against something he saw coming years ago.

A Gutsy Move for Stumpy

At least McCain has acknowledged the ugly mess in Congress and is willing to do his job as a senator.  Suspending his campaign and delaying the first debate on foreign policy may be overdoing it; by letting Obama skate away from a potential bloodbath.  Strangely enough, Obama wants the the debate he tried to avoid to go on as planned.

Now that his rival will not be there, perhaps the lawyer Obama thinks he has a chance to win the non-debate.  What will he do in such a one sided event, debate his own ego, or his alter ego?  MaCain's move may also give Obama the excuse to later say McCain had the chance to debate him and canceled out, rather than simply asking for a delay.  What did Barnum used to say?  "Never give a sucker an even break."  McCain just did that with Obama.

The other part of his gutsy move is far more dangerous, but presents him with the chance to gain a great advantage, by not acting as a regular politician and boldly going into the maelstrom of a disaster he forsaw back in 2005.  Now Obama can do nothing but play catch up with McCain.  The old POW is taking the same chance he does every time he crosses the aisle to the other side.  That is, getting his hands cut off to bloody stumps by the Democrat partisans in the Senate, and now the House of Representatives.  He has done it so often, I'm amazed he isn't known as Stumpy, while he is also cut off at the knees.  He may escape the knives of the partisans this time, but I doubt it.  In any event, he should remember who is at fault for the problem and be emphatic, along with President Bush, in holding the Democrats to blame for the scandal.  For all his injuries, McCain seems to personify what Obama only talks about; the audacity of hope.

Patriotism is Paying More Taxes? Time for a Tea Party

Biden is sticking to mimicing others.  This time it's Marx.  If Americans were this patriotic back in the 1770's, we would have remained subjects of Mad King George.  They weren't, and rebelled because of the new taxes inmposed on them for the French and Indian War.  This was after American colonists in the Colonial Militia had already payed the debt with their service and, or their lives; only to see new taxes imposed on them and finding themselves barred from settling the interior newly won from the French.

Mad King George made the same mistake Biden is making now; assuming We The People who are imposed upon will go along with their delusions.  The Patriots, the Sons of Liberty in Boston, responded by having the Boston Tea Party; threw newly taxed tea into the bay and helped found a country of free Americans and coffee drinkers.

The new Tea Party should take place on Nov. 4, 2008 when we vote the liberal clowns out of office.  We are already within striking distance of regaining majorities in both houses because Congress's approval ratings are in single digits; we are reinvigorated with the Palin nomination and because of the endless scandals of the Liberal Democrat leadership.  The key this year, like in 2006, is conservative turnout.  We didn't turn out in enough numbers two years ago and ended up with the Pelosi/Reed fiasco.  We have the chance to take Congress back now, just be turning up for the party and voting as what we are; the majority of the electorate.

We cannot afford two more years of congressional meddling and the subsequent government take overs of segments of the private section by the very idiots who caused the problems in the first place.  We can't let any more politically correct social arhitecture like the Subprime Mortgages Scandal by those who can't read a financial statement or have any knowledge of accounting.  Accounting teaches us there is no free lunch, everything must be paid and accounted for in the end.  Congress is unaccountable and financially bankrupt, just as Liberalism is mentally bankrupt.  We can't afford either.  We certainly can't afford well over a trillion dollar price tag for the Subprime Scandal after the Democrats load up the proposed 700 billion dollar bailout with more social welfare earmarks.  On top of that, the Liberal Democrats will instigate another 1 trillion dollar debt if they win in November.  We can't afford another two to four years by sitting out this election and being compelled to pay the bill with more taxes.  That's not patriotism, it's tyranny, tyranny we and our descendents can ill afford.

Earth to Sen. Cohen, Pilate is a Saint

Pilate was not only a govenor, he is a saint in the Abyssinian Church (according to the World Book Encyclopedia circa 1968, pre P.C.).  Pilate was made a saint by the Abyssinians because they believed he had converted to Christianity later in life and had been martyred.  Being a liberal, Sen. Cohen obviously didn't do any research before shooting off his mouth.

Obama has no relation to Jesus.  Obama is a cummunist organizer and community agitator for the fraud prone organization ACORN; an organization which specializes in voter fraud.

The irony of Sen. Cohen not realizing Pilate is a saint is telling.  Abyssinia is the ancient name for Ethiopia.  If Sen. Cohen was truly concerned with political correctness, he would have checked with Ethiopean Christians on the possible status of Pontius Pilate being closer to Jesus than Obama (and the old govenor did not judge Jesus).  If he had done a modicum of reserch on the subject; he wouldn't have made such a fool of himself by making such an ill-informed comment.  This is not to say Sarah Palin is a saint, but simply a govenor who is more qualified to be President of the United States than Obama.  However, if liberlas like the senator weren't so predictably stupid, they wouldn't be so entertaining.

From Osama to Pres. Obama & the Gobblist News Media

Gobbles said it and the News Media lives it.  "A lie told long enough and often enough becomes the truth."  9/11 was an inside job.  Bombs were placed in the towers for a controlled implosion.  Bush (and/or Chaney) flew one of the planes into one of the World Trade Center towers.  There was no plane at the Pentagon, etc. and ad nauseum.

We thought, on Sept. 11, 2001, that no one could ever forget the barbarism of that day.  Yet, in many ways the liberally stupid among us have forgotten and continue to refuse to acknowledge the causes of 9/11.  They have also refused to play any of the images from that day because the images are too "disturbing".  So is reality.

We were attacked by Islamic Fascists without provocation, as a naked act of terrorism and war.  We've been beating the crap out of them ever since, particularly on the two fronts of the war in Iraq and Afganistan.  But the News Media never report the war in a fair and balanced way.  They say we are always losing.  We should pull out.  We are the ones terrorizing the residents of these countries.  What will the world think?  Who the hell cares!  The envious will always hate us, while they never try to improve themselves and join us in a better life.

The enemies of America always want us to lose, to fall into despair and have our spirit broken.  Those include the many in the News Media who wonder why we do not comply with their warped views, as they rage on against America.  They view themselves as the best and the brightest, yet they are often not as successful as those they view as beneath themselves; while being continually amazed why the rest of us pay them no mind.  I'm too busy working to waste my time with overeducated idiots who take it on themselves to harp on about their presumptions.  They're like the reporter/interogator in the Palin interviewer, looking down over their glasses at her as if they are so sage and judgemental.  Actually, he looked like something Doc Savage once said-like a putz in a pawn shop.  Or was that a porn shop?

I remember, hearing in the background of my life that day, about a plane possibly crashing into one of the towers of the World Trade Center.  It was a terrible tragedy, but not unique, I thought.  An American bomber, on a training mission, had crashed into the Empire State Building in the fog one day in the late 1940's.  Then a second plane plowed into the other tower on a perfectly clear day.  Now it was a deliberate act of terrorism or war.  Then we were all worried, anticipating a rain of planes coming out of the sky and plunging into more buildings after the Pentagon was hit by another plane, not a missile.  No one knew when the next shoe, or plane, would fall or drop.  We didn't know what to expect, or where all the planes were going.  Then the towers fell and the entire airline industry was grounded.

It turned out only one other plane had been taken over and was missing, Flight 93.  Then there were reports it had crashed near my home city of Pittsburgh, after being turned around and aimed toward Washington D.C. and possibly the White House or Congress.  Something had gone wrong, for the terrotists with their rage, their knives and their box cutters.  Americans had fought back, ruined their plans and killed them.  Oh well, no 72 virgins for each of the idiot terrorists.  May they rot.

We have been fighting back ever since, but the Gobblist News Media do little more than attack us and our motives, blaming us for everything.  Now they want to force us to vote for an unknown man with an Arabic name and a glass jaw; a man we are never allowed to find any particulars about his background.  What about the fact, I ask again, that his last name rhymes with the first name of S.O.B. who planned the whole 9/11 attacks?  Or the fact his middle name is the same as the last name of the Butcher of Baghdad.  Yet we are not supposed to even mention that name.  He is applying for the highest position in the country and the world.  We have the right to ask who he is and ultimately reject him as just another overeducated, unqualified non-entity for the presidency.  We can not depend on the assurances, and more to the point dictates, of the News Media.  They constantly tell us, in effect, we are the terrorists and have brought 9/11 upon ourselves.

This year, it will be the Gobblist News who will fall, imploding on themselves with the weight of their own propaganda.  It is propaganda Gobbles would by proud of and approve.  The difference is, now we can debunk their propaganda and act according to own free will.  May they rot.

The Compassionate Right & the Red Neck Left

The psycho red necks on the Left are in full pit bull frenzy with their attacks on Gov. Palin.  Their view is she should be barefoot and pregnent in the kitchen.  A woman with five children shouldn't take on the demanding job of V.P. of the United States.  You know she has no expereince, and on it goes.

Where not the Left supposed to be all for the independence of woman in modern America?  That is, if they submitted to the dictates of group think and group identity.  Liberated women were not supposed to be conservative women with NRA membership married to someone employed in oil exploration and someone committed to more oil production.  What an outrage!

Gov. Palin doesn't have five children to take care of now.  Her first born, a son, signed up for the Army last 9/11 and is being deployed to Iraq this year on 9/11 and her pregnant daughter is planning to marry.  So she has only three children to raise and Hillary still has one, Bill.

So how challenging a job is a mostly ceremonial position like the Vice President of the United States?  One former occupant of the office, about a hundred years ago, said the job "wasn't worth a bucket of warm spit."   When Martin Van Buren was V.P., he found the job so boring, he left Washington to run his business, a bar.  He told everyone, if they needed him, they knew where to find him.  The job is ill-defined and is of no real political power, being designed merely as a contingency for the next in line if the President dies or becomes incapacitated and has been occupied by luminaries like Gore and Mondale.  It's the job Obama should have shot for in the first place.  With her background, Gov. Sarah Palin is actually overqualified.  She may eventually go back to governing Alaska for a challenge.

Palin kept her eldest daughter in the family, is allowing the girl to help take care of her infant son so her daughter will be better prepared to take care of her own child, the newest addition to the family.  That is compassion, not red neck dribble from the Left which includes direct assualts on the oldest daughter as a way to diminish Sarah Palin.  It's similar to their attacks on President George W. Bush's daughters trying to drink under age while they ignored Al Gore III and his drunk driving charge during the 2000 DNC as his father was being nominated for the Presidency and his subsequent DUI while driving an eco friendly car at almost a hundred miles an hour.  So much for liberal compassion.

McCain and Palin Outflank the Left

McCain has made a great choice for V.P. and now the News Media are enraged.  Good.  All they can find to attack is Palin's daughter on something they overlook in other situations.  Their mental meltdowns and faux morality are laughable.  If Obama's daughters were older and one of them was a pregnant teen, the subject would be outlawed for discussion, the situation too private a matter for public discussion.

The glaring shortcomings and failures of Liberal Democrats are always treated in this fashion.  Bill Clinton cheating on his wife was a private affair and should not even have been discussed.  He lied under oath, according to him, to keep from hurting Hillary and Chelsea.  Clinton should have thought about the consequences before he did everything ahead of time, and with the right part of his anatomy.  His gross misconduct was ignored and even justified by the News Media.  They still were not able to contain it, even Ben and Jerry's came out with a new ice cream flavor in honor of Clinton called Chubby Cheatin Hubby.  If it was a private matter for Bill; it's a private matter for Gov. Palin.  What the News Media is really mad about is the other baby, her second son born with Down's was not aborted.  Palin has kept her son in accordance with her beliefs.  Both children are being accepted into the family, and still the media looks on in shock.

The News Media is also trying to attack Palin on lack of experience.  Experience?  She has two years' worth of experience as govenor of Alaska and is the only govenor on either tickets.  If she had been in the same job in Arkansas, she would be finishing or near to finishing her first term, since the office only has a two year term, rather than a four year term as is the rule in most states.  Because the News media have only this fine point of semantics to argue, they are obviously desperate for points of contention.

Another thing the News Media are mad about is the fact Palin is a NRA member and likes to hunt, fish and supposedly has a bear skin rug in her office.  What a great future photo shoot for her new son and her grandchild.  Let us not forget her husband works in the oil fields and she is for increased domestic oil production.

The reason the Left and the News Media have been outflanked is simply because McCain, that old white guy, picked a female govenor from Alaska who is more qualified to be President than Obama.  This happened after Obama threw Hillary under the bus (talk about a speed bump) and chose another old white guy as his running mate who is just as unfit for the office.  In the end, the Liberal Democrats are all about talk and appearance and will always be outflanked by substance.

Obama, O'Biden, Oh B.S.!!

Last night, after the Steeelers won in Pittsburgh, the Democrats lost in Denver.  The second event tried to pre-empt the first.  When KDKA announced the switch to Obama's speech, we did what any red blooded American Steelers fans would do, we switched to an alternative TV channel to watch the rest of the game, unitl the Steelers defeated the Carolina Panthers by a field goal.  Then, after savoring the victory, I finally switched the channel to be annoyed by Obama's B.S. review.  I have only heard bits and pieces of Biden's lame complaints.  They made little impression, it was the same old liberal rag.  Obama's belicose speech was already rolling on through the checklist of complaints and lies.  But some of his points stood out for their blatant stupidity.

Obama complained about people being left alone by America to make it on their own.  Sir, that is the basis of freeedom, of being an American.  Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court Justice you said was not qualified to be on that court has already summed up that aspect of freedom when he said "The dirty little secret about freedom is, you're on your own."  That is not weakness, it is the strength of America and life, Mr. Obama.  We don't need a helping hand from you or the government.

He went on and on about freedom, that is true, but he was alwyas wedding it to the government being the arbitrator of and the controling mechinism for freedom.  That is not freedom, Mr. Obama, that is the antithesis of freedom and the double speak of the Left.  You started sounding like the Handicapper General from a short story by Kurt Vonnegut who made sure no one rose above the average.

Obama even blamed Bush and the Republicans for everything supposedly wrong in the economy while comparing them with the one under Clinton without admitting the obvious.  The economy he was praising, in the later five years (1996-200) of his administration brought about by the Republican majorities in the Senate and the House after the Contract with America and had little to do with Clinton.  The country suffered under the first two years Clinton's administration when the Dems controlled both houses of Congress and the White House.  The economy is being hampered, but not in recession in the last two years because of the nitwit Liberal Democrat majorities in Congress.  Liberal control of all three houses under Obama and Biden will result in another economic downturn possibly as bad as the one under Carter.

Today, as McCain announced Gov. Palin as his running mate and she delivered a first rate speech, I didn't turn it off.  For all my reservations about McCain earlier in the primaries, I have no doubt he and Gov. Sarah Palin are the winning ticket and Obama and Biden are the Sore Loserman ticket of the Left this year.
