Where's All This Gobal Warming?

That's a question we asked ourselves over the weekend, when it was 17 degrees below zero in Pittsburgh with wind chill and there were two feet of snow in Michigan, Upstate New York and New England and up to 33 inches in Wisconsin.  We didn't have snow here, but we had the wind, negating the wind of public opinion from the News Media.  Are we to thank global warming for this widespread White Christmas or hope the News Media continues to make fools of themsleves?  All this snow and cold weather seems to be following Al Gore around and is now being called the "Gore Effect".  Maybe it's caused by the low pressure zone between his ears.

This coming year, we should not worry about the government or the weather, but wonder if God has a sense of humor.  All we have to do is look at some of the prominent liberals of our day (from Barney Frank to the Clintons, Al Franken, Al Sharpton, Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Blago with all their pontificating) to realize God may have a very good sense of humor.  So, don't despair about the new year, enjoy the farce and have a Merry Christmas.

The New Press-A Paine to the Left

What can we do as individual citizens, as individual bloggers after the election?  We continue being who we are, individual voices of liberty, dissent, opinion and thought.  We become the pamphleteers and the New Press of our age, like some of the Founders, including Tom Paine, against the people in power.  It's an American tradition, and our right.

Long before the creation to the Constitution, it was our God given right of dissent, protected and backed up later on by the freedom of the press clause in the first Amendment.  Thomas Paine was very argumentative with the other Founding Fathers and pulled no punches.  He even questioned the legitimacy of George Washington's birth.

Today, no one can take freedom of speech or of the press from us, unless we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed.  We are not overwhelmed, we are not intimidated.  We are Americans and this is our country.  We have the right to disagree and state our opinions and views.  We are not subjects of the Federal government.  We are the owners of the government and nothing shall subvert us to something the people of America brought about after they won their independence through armed revoution, to create "a more perfect Union".  The more perfect Union can not be the agent of our own repression.

So, we keep on writing; we keep on on pointing out the blind sides, the blind spots in the News Media coverage as proponents of the New Pamphleteers, the New Media and the New Press.  Congress can threaten to pass draconian new laws, but "Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press".  We do not need the interpretation of the courts for language so plain and unambiguous.  Any laws passed by Congress which violates the First Amendment are null and void and we are not beholden to them.  If there was ever a moment for civil disobedience, it will be when these unconstitutional laws are imposed.

Will we prevail?  We, as Americans, are a naturally rebellious people.  The impostition of new taxes by the British Crown without representation of those imposed upon, resulted in the creation of a new country.  A tax on whiskey led to the Whiskey Rebellion here in the Pittsburgh area, at that time the frontier, against George Washington's own administration.  Prohibition was widely ignored by the American people living under this unenforceable constitutional amendment.  That fact can be seen by comparing two statistics.  How many speakeasies existed in America during Prohibition?  The answer, about the same number as the number of bars which existed in America before Prohibition.

Even the Soviet Union could not change the economic behavior of the oppressed and enslaved so-called Soviet citizenry.  It only drove such behavior underground and created a huge black market as the people reacted to the natural economic laws of unlimited demands pursuing limited supplies.

Free enterprise allows free individuals to exchange goods and services among themselves in order to satisfy their needs in free markets.  Any constrictions on these activities, arbitrarily imposed by the government, are disturbances in normal activities and create artificial limitations to the best utilization of goods and services.  Free enterprise is very democratic in its economic dynamics.  Central planning is oppressive, unresponsive and tyrannical in its distortions within any economy and society imposed upon.  This is just as true concerning the free exchange of ideas, political dissent and thought.

No matter how many degrees liberals in government have printed on parchment and hung on their walls; all these overeducated experts can do is to fleece the people in order to have more sheepskins to print their additional degrees and decrees upon.  None of them could ever come up with the idea of, or implement the plan for something like Federal Express, McDonald's, Wendy's, Hewlett Packard, Dell, Apple Computers or the E.I.B. Network.  The potential of the individual living in freedom is infinite.  The potential of government bureaucracies is limited by the mental disorders of its entrenched bureaucrats.

We are the entrepreneurs of free thought.  We are the New Press.

Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss

Just like the old song by The Who "Won't Get Fooled Again", we will not be fooled by the new administration.  But enough Americans were fooled with the promises of change.  So much for vague illusions spoon fed to the easily deceived.  The New Boss Obama and his minions are simply the minions and mental minnows of Old "Boss Tweed" Clinton.

So far, most of Obama's picks for his Administration of Change have turned out to be Clintonistas touting what Rush just today called the Bold Old Policies.  Even Hillary is now the Secretary of State (or Intestate) in the Regency of the Obama Era and only three heart beats away from the presidency.

I still believe the economic fallout of the new Regency and the equally tone deaf Democrat controlled Congress will be more akin to a second Carter Administration; with all its inherent economic melees.  Now, the economic follies will star the same cast of nefarious schmucks from the days of Bubba Clinton, called the Bald Old Retreads.

This may very well cause us to suffer under the worst of both possible worlds.  But wouldn't Voltaire have had a field day satirizing the presumptions of this cast of clowns?  So why shouldn't we do the same with economic and political commentary while having a blast as the cracks appear?  Personally, I'm looking forward to it.

All this can be summed up in a baseball analogy.  There is no joy in Mudville, the Mighty Barack has struck out.

2008 Election-The Death of the Rinos

The election was devastating to the Republican Rinos.  They were the ones who ran the campaign, ran it poorly and lost, while trying to make themselves into Liberal Light.  They even had their own candidate: an inoffensive, politically correct and amiable fall guy in McCain.  They got their clocks cleaned and many of the Republicans who lost their seats in Congress were Rinos.  That makes our work easier to rid the Republican Party of their kind.

In their prime, they rampaged over the political terrain and damaged the efforts of conservatives within the party.  Now they have decimated themselves and their numbers.  There are just a few prominent ones left, including Sen. Snarlin Arlen of Pennsylvania, who we need to defeat in the 2010 primaries if he doesn't retire first.

What can the rest of us do in the aftermath?  The same thing the conservatives within the Republican Party did after the defeat of Gerald Ford in the 1976 election.  Every once in a while the News Media actually screws up and reports something truthful and newsworthy.  The CBS Evening News did just that when they sent a single female reporter to a meeting of the Republican leadership of the party around two years after the election and reported the conservatives were actively taking over control of the party.  The conservatives did just that and came back to win the election of 1980 with Ronald Reagan.  It was done then, it can be done now, to bring about electoral revolutions in 2010 and again in 2012.  The first reform within the party needs to be no more open primaries.   We choose our own candidates for President, not the Democrats or the Rinos in our own party.  History is, in fact, cyclical and we can bring about another 1994 take over of the House in 2010, followed by another 1980 election in 2012.  Yes, we will.

Barack's First Tax Test Subject-the Wife

Obama promises to raise taxes on those making over $250,000 a year.  What about the little woman?

The News Media, myopic as always, overlooked the fact Mrs. Obama makes over $300,000 a year from her job working for a hospital in Chicago.  Since she meets the criteria of being rich, then she should be the first test case of the new tax.  It's only fair.  If she thought America was a downright mean country before, wait till he presents her with the bill.

To be really fair, considering she's going to leave her job soon, he should make it retroactive for the last two years during his political run at the presidency, just to show he's serious.  Will he collect, will he get his block knocked off or will he even try?  The IRS should not expect any funds for money transfers to non-taxpayers from the Obamas.  Liberals never suffer the fate they prescribe for others, because they never gore their own.

Analyzing the 2008 Presidential Election Result

Despite the News Media spin about the great Obama victory on Nov. 4, 2008; he did not have a landslide victory in the Democrats' much vaunted popular vote as a result of his magnetism.  George W. Bush, certainly not a dynamic speaker and after four years of being called an idiot, a frat boy by the News Media; still won re-election in 2004 with almost 51% of the popular vote.  Obama won on Tuesday with just 53% of the popular vote.  So much for a popular landslide.  McCain still received around 46% of the popular vote in the same contest, even as we were carrying our own quaterback throughout the campaign.  Most of those votes were actually for Plin, who was only a known factor since the convention.  Palin, like the rest of us, is not going away.  It does not bode well for any Obama legacy or the elction of 2012, even before the inevitable let down of his presidency.

Measuring Obama for a Cardigan and the Misery Index

History and bull are cyclical, so obviously the liberal Democrats want to finally realize Jimmy Carter's second term with Obama and company.  Yes, they want to take us on another long cruise through Hell, allowing us to relive the following.

1) Double digit inflation up to 13% or higher.
2) High unemployment as companies, mostly small businesses, lay off employees because of new regulations and taxation.
3) The Misery Index.
4) The return of the Melees.
5) A pititful foreign policy, which again will be the scorn of the world.
6) Deer-in-the-headlights response to every challenge and disaster.
7) And a president in a cardigan telling us to turn down the heat.

Do we get our official Barack Obama tire gauge with all that bull?  How about money back for every tune up?

I know I've called him the Shill Du Jour, but does he have be this obviously vacuous for his new role?  I hope the sweater fits.

The Revolution Continues, Election to Election

I'm still getting over Election Day, but our lives go on and my life has not been destroyed because of it.  It's simply hard to realize Obama and the News Media won, and we have an empty suit for our next president.  Only now the News Media are admitting even they know little about him.  You cretins had two years to investigate him and find out who he is, instead of cheering him on like the truly deluded.  Fifty-seven million still voted for the better ticket, but not the right one.  Sarah Palin was not the reason McCain lost, he lost the election on his own.  Naming Palin to the ticket was the best thing McCain did in the entire campaign.  We need more people in politics like her.

So, what do we do now?  Keep working toward the next election in 2010 to win back seats in Congress, keep nailing the News Media on their deceptions while holding them responsible for their relentless propaganda in this election.  More later.

The Conservative "I" in PA

Just a short note to remind my fellow Pennsylvanians.  It's about forty-five minutes till the polls close in PA.  If you haven't voted yet, get to the plls now.  Though Pennsylvania is usually a blue state, the central part of the state between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is usually the last region to be counted in elections because it is generally more rural.  Like the western panhandle of Florida, it's also the most conservative part of the state, so do not be discouraged by media reports and remember what Dan Rather did by calling Florida for Gore with forty-five minutes left till the closing of the polls.  The "I" was the reason Santorum was elected and re-elected to the Senate until 2006.  It was also the factor which almost voted our other senator, Snarlin Arlen, out of office in the 2004 primary.  This year the Pittsburgh area may be more in tune with the conservative "I" with the Murtha decision and the two areas can swing the state to McCain.  So, wait till the results have come back from these two areas before you know the election is decided in Pennsylvania, and if you haven't voted in the "I", get in line.

Local Poll Not Crowded in Western PA

Despite the predictions in the News Media and claims of others of long lines, my local poll station only had cars lined up the street and some six people standing in line outside of it at ten minutes to 7AM this morning when I drove by on my way to work.  So it didn't give me enough time to cast my ballot, but only then.  I went back there at around 1PM and it looked like any other election day.  The turn out is good, but not overwhelming, at least in my community.  Don't listen to the News Media reports until the winner is confirmed.  At least Dan Rather won't come out of retirement and declare Florida for the Democrat candidate at 8:15PM this time.  He did that in 2000, calling the state for Gore, when part of the western panhandle of Florida, the most conservative andRepublican area in the state, was in the Central Time Zone and the polls were still open for another forty-five minutes.  The winner was not finally declared until about 4AM the next morning, and it was George W. Bush, as it was in every single recount for the next thre months as the Democrats tried to steal the election.  This election is ours to win or lose, so turn out.

The Steelers and the Red Skins

It's interesting the election might come down to a football game tonight.  I am, of course, a Steelers fan in their contest against the reds from the Federal District of Washington and any other team.  Now, I hear the Redskins have predicted seventeen of the last eighteen elections with the result of their last game before Election Day.  If they win, the party in power wins the election.  Does this put me in doubt about a Steelers win?  Heck no.  First, I want the Steelers to win, especially against the Redskins and such absurd assumptions.  The other reason I'm not going to cheer on Washington is only logical.  The whole thing was discredited in 2004,when the Redskins lost and George W. Bush won.  Go Steelers.

Two Realities-The Real One & the News Media

There are two realities in this country.  The first one is the one you, I and most Americans deal with on a daily basis.  The other is the fabrication of the News Media.

In our reality, we work, interact with our fellow Americans and try to improve our lives, while dealing with the frustrations and challenges of life.  We also deal with the endless possibilities of freedom.  Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas summed up this first reality when he said, "The dirty little secret about freedom is, you're on your own."  This can either be a challenge or a terrifying realization, depending on your personal perceptions and beliefs.  Those who are the happiest in America are the ones who are optimistic.  I adhere to this school of thinking, because of my background in sales, my experiences growing up in America and my trust in the native intelligence of the American people.

The second is a fabrication and the one shown over and over in the news.  There, everyone is alone, isolated, overwhelmed by the evils and unfariness of America.  It is a reality where everything is America's fault, where all evil is incarnate in our country and the world hates us.  Rag, rag, rag.

Tomorrow, we ignore the fabrications of the News Media and affirm our own.  I know it seems overwhelming, but we are not alone, we are Americans.

As Hamilton said in Federalist Paper No. 29 (the one concerning the militia and something every American should read and study), "Where in the name of common sense are our fears to end if we may not trust our sons, our brothers, our neighbors, our fellow citizens?  What shadow of danger can there be from men who are daily mingling with the rest of their countrymen; and who participate with them in the same feelings, sentiments, habits and interests?"  This reference was concerning the militia which is the whole of the people, according to George Mason.  It could just as well have been in regard to conservative Americans' ability (both men and women) to vote as free people and make an intelligent decision as far as who will lead us on a federal level in the White House and Congress.  They are both related to being an informed and active citizen. So, disregard the published polls, the media polls and exit polls.  Trust your native intelligence as a free American.

The President of France and the Media Blitz

We do not have to look very far for an example of how the News Media can be off the mark on a national election.

The French News Media was in awe of their own historic first, the election of the first woman, and a liberal to boot, to the office of President of France.  It was in the bag, a foregone conclusion, hell, it was public opinion.  Then Nicolas Sarkosy, a conservative, won the election and became President of France.  If the French can disregard and counter their own News Media's presumptions and biases, we can ignore our own News Mdia, their Media Blitz and their manufactured public opinion.

A case in point: there is a news report just announced on the radio, again, that there will be an election landslide for Obama.  They said the same thing in 2004 and every four years near Election Day.  They are also quoting margins in polls as high as 15% to 17% in favor of Obama.  Those polls should be disregarded simply because they are far outside the statistical variance in comparison to other polls indicating a close election.  Exit Polls will also be said to be highly in favor of Obama early tomorrow after the polls open.  In addition, in California, the largest blue state, the number of early ballots sent in only has a Democrat majority of around a thousand over the number of early Republican ballots.

Don't believe the spin, it will make you dizzy and turn you into a liberal.  The greatest weapons we have against the News Media are knowledge, a sense of the cyclical nature of history and a good memory.  Personally, I developed my memory because so many people have selective amnesia and are ealsily misled, crises to crises and election to election.  Think for yourself, remember and vote.

Obama, the Fraudulent President?

Are we not being asked to perpetuate a fraud?  We still know next to nothing about Obama, thanks to the News Media and the Democrat Party.  We are unlikely to find out anything in the next four days.

Is he a natural born American?  This was a legitimate question about McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone.  At first, I thought that question alone would disqualify McCain, but the issue was thoroughly pursued in the courts and MCCain was found to be a legitimate candidate.  There have been presidents whe were born on the frontier in U.S. territories who thus qualified as candidates for the office.  Even if Obama had been born in Hawaii a few years earlier, he would have been born in a territory, not a state, but he would still be a natural born citizen.  The issue is not trivial, except to liberals, because it is in the Constitution.

Will we receive the real document of his birth in time or the election.  No, the fix is in and his birth records have been sealed by the governor of Hawaii, a supposed Republican.  So far, this is the only example of Obama participating in a bipartisan effort, one that benefits him and further confounds the American people and the truth.

The issue is not the document itself being produced in time for the election.  It's the questions the issue arouses concerning his truthfulness and the possibility of fraud.

Let's look at this as a theoretical discussion.  As a supposed constitutional scholar, Obama would not be able to plead ignorence on the topic of his birth if he was born outside of the United States.  It's in the Constitution-Article II, Section 5, paragraph 5 "No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the Unitied States, at the time of the adoption of this constitution, shall be elegible to the office of the president".  Since no one is alive who was alive then, unless the Left wants to argue for the ongoing sanctity of life versus abortion, then only natural born citizens are elegible.  If he is covering up his foreign birth, is he not carrying on a fraud on the American people?  Is not the Democrat Party also guilty of a fraudulent act by not fully vetting the one candidate for president they have selected out of a country of 300,000,000 people?  Are the News Medai not co-conspirators in the smae fraud by not doing their job of investigating the Democrat candidate?  They are ruthlessly efficient in investigating private citizens like Joe the Plumber and the reporter in Florida because these mere plebeians dared to ask embarrassing questions.  They are zealots in their investigative assault on Sarah Palin, who is running for vice president.  If the fraud is real, are they not co-conspirators?

What is the effect of this act?  We elect a fraudelent, illegitimate candidate to the highest office in the world and we can get rid of him; except by impeaching him in the House of Representatives, then trying and convicting him in the Senate.  That will not happen in a Congress where both houses have clear Democrat control.  In 2010, we might take back the House, but can we impeach him?  Not likely.  The Senate will still not not even try him, if the Democrats maintain a large enough majority.

In the meantime, the Democrat Senate will be approving his judicial appointments.  Contrary to popular opinion, judges are not appointed for life.  According to the Constitution, they serve as long as they are in good standing.  In good standing has come to mean life time appointments, but it is not the same.  Even so, how can they be in good standing, if they were appointed by a fraudelent president.  That is a legal issue that may give us a chance, someday after we win big enough majorities in both houses, to impeach and remove them all from office, along with Obama.  But we can't count on it.  It's a simple argument, how can judges appointed by a illegitimate president by themselves legitimate?  Their appointment will be null and void because they were appointed by a president who is null and void, according to the Constitution.  So you think they, the judges and the Democrats in Congress, would consider that point?  In this theoretical discussion, would Obama protect and defend the Constitution?  If you believe that, I've got a great deal for you and all the other pigeons and punters on the purchase of the Brooklyn Bridge.  It's for sale, you know.  It's the truth, and the left is compassioanate.

So, how do we avoid this?  Don't vote him into office in the first place.  Don't allow him to get in on a loophole in the law, called fraud.  Vote for McCain/Palin and a mojority in the House of Representatives.  Winning a majority of the Senate seats up for election would be a treat.  Anything else could be criminal.

Overheard in Pittsburgh

I just happen to hear two union members discussing Obama's half hour commercial before the final game of the World Series.  It weems an indication of changing attitudes in the election.

"Did you see that thirty minute commercial for Obama before the game?" the first one scoffed.

"Yeah, where did he get all the money for it?" the other asked.

"Seems he's getting money coming in from everywhere."

"Is that like buying the election?" the second man suggested.

The election is not over.
