Bidding Obama Goodbye

Didn't Obama see "The Godfather"?  "You keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" was Poppa Corleone's advice that Obama should listen to if he had common sense and brains.  But he doesn't, and neither does the Democrat leadership.

I've been very busy with work lately, so I haven't made many postings.  I might as well go on vacation now, Obama and the Dems are imploding on their own.  What bounce was he expecting from bringing on a pompous, little liked senator from a small state?  At the same time, why take the chance of being betrayed by Obama's main enemies, the Clintons?  Is Obama trying to keep them at arm's length?  If he does that, they'll tear his arms out.  Better embrace them and frisk them at the same time for concealed weapons as he and the Clintons waltz their way to defeat.

Putting all that aside, there is new deversity to the ticket.  The deluded now have an outsider (supposedly) and an insider in Washington running together.  They now have youth and the old and grumpy. Don't forget the importance of new ideas Biden is famous for, as a plagerist, after lifting almost an entire speech from a British politician and representing it all as his own.  That will not help a politician only known for reading speeches written by others off a screen.

So what has Barry succeded in doing?  He has alienated the Clintons and their ilk, picked another liberal senator with high negatives and no bounce.  At least Hillary has a larger base, even in orange, and is a senator from the third largest state in the country.  The Democrats now have a dream ticket, for the Republicans to lampoon consisting of an empty suit and a mimic.  The radical mimics out on the streets of Denver will not be amused by the choice, as they spout propaganda spoon fed to them by the news media on Gitmo and 911.

So, what was Obama thinking?  Not much, he is nothing but generalities and banalities; the same old empty headed phrases of the Left in a slightly different delivery than the Clintonists and other communists have mouthed through the years.  What the Democrat leadership needs is a new playbook not based on Marx and candidates with substance and yes, gravitas. If they only had a brain.
