It's Constitutional, Get Over It.

Burning the Koran, the Bible, the flag are all protected by the Constitution.  The courts have interpreted the Constitutuion to state it's okay to burn the flag as an example of the Amendment's protection of free speech.
In America, you can also put a crucifix in a jar of your own urine and call it art, or drape a statue of the Virgin Mary with elephant dung.  Both are clearly examples of freedom of speech, according to the Main Loon Press.

The government recently burned Bibles in Afghanistan.  The books' crime, they were published in the two most widely spoken languages in the country and were going to be destributed by some American soldiers to Afghans.  Was not this an example of a violation of those soldiers' right to freely exercise their religion?

According to the ruling class in Washington, the building of the mosque at Ground Zero is protected by the same clause in the First Amendment and is being praised by the Administration and the Press.  Where has the government helped and praised the Greek-Americans congregation of the Greek Orthidox church which used to stand across the street from the WTC in rebuilding that church during the last nine years?  Not one word.

The double standard is obvious, but Liberalism always wants a one size fits all paradigm in their simplistic view of America and the world.  If they allow the ones sited herein to stand, they have to also allow the burning of the Koran as an example of two different clauses within the First Amendment.  Or have they only provided lip service so far to the Constitution?
