The First Post Party Summit in Pittsburgh

Our first summit, part of the bridge to November, was a great success this last weekend.  For all of us in the Tea Party Movement, this was the logical next step.  Over two hundred fifty people showed up for the meeting.  We were still reluctant, as individuals, to take the necessarty efforts needed to move forward with the New American Revolution, but we were willing to try.  There was a great spirit of renewed effort and purpose, a willingness to take up the gauntlet on our march toward the November elections.  It was time to talk with others of similar interests and concerns, to exchange ideas and emails, to network and join with in new groups of motivated citizens and to learn how to become more effective.  We were learning how to act locally and think nationally while saving the republic and the Constitution.

There were speakers and workshops on building coalitions, running for office, media strategy, preventing voter fraud and investigative reporting.  One of the speakers was Jim Scarantino, the man who caused the Obama Regime to stop talking about all the bogus jobs they purpotedly "created" and "saved" after exposing the Regime's practices of spending stimulant money.  All this from his office at his home in New Mexico.

He did it by simply pointing out that Washington sent stimulant money to all five congressional districts in New Mexico.  The only problem?  There are only three congressional districts in the state.  So where did all the money go?  Then the Federal government said they would send the stimulant money to zip codes, except some of those zip codes simply didn't exist.  His investigative efforts were picked up on a national basis and prompted a response from Vice-President Biden and changes in executive branch practices.  It was very empowering to realize we could achieve similar results as responsible citizen invesigative journalists doing the work the Goebblist Media refuses to do.

We also learned how to organize to effect change.  I'll leave those trite liberal phrases undefined.  I'm doing that just to force the liberals' little paranoid minds to jump the light speed barrier to derision as they try to figure out all the things that may have gone on at our meeting.

The spirit and the passion at the summit were encouraging, the sence of real change and evolution were just as stimulating as we took the next step to restoring our freedoms and reversing the outlandish growth of government size, debt and power.  I encourage you to attend these summits and work with your fellow citizens in taking back America from the utopian fantasies of entrenched statists.

Those efforts can be as simple as networking with others, setting up your own blogs and websites, utilizing your cell phone, digital camera and vedio cam and getting the information out on the web with your computer in an effective and professional manner.

Another speaker, Martin Gillespie from New Jersey, pointed out the growing tax revolt in the state and the efforts of Governor Christie in downsizing the state government, as well as the large number of local school budgets recently voted down by the New Jersey citizenry.  He also stated we, as attendees, have a great advantage over the liberal Democrats.  Their activists are paid, and paid quite well by the Democrat leadership, whereas we are more numerous and dedicated individual citizens.

Get envolved, put forth the effort.  It's worth it for ourselves, our children and our descendents.
