Obama and minions may bring guns to a fight, we will bring cameras and video cams. Tomorrow is the first anniversary of the Tea Party rallies on tax day. Last year, on April 15th, there were 3,000 to 5,000 Tea Party demonstrators in Pittsburgh alone at a single rally in Market Square. That rally, along with the other rallies in the Pittsburgh area and across the country, were mostly ignored by the Media, who were too busy worshipping Obama.
Look how much a year can change the entire political landscape. The rallies are going to be larger and more numerous, and the coverage will be just as selective. Jason Levin, with stoptheteaparty.com and others are trying to ramp up the Left's astroturf campaign to mislead the gullible about the Tea Party activities and the make up of a broad based, grass-roots movement.
I will attend the rally in Mellon Square tomorrow and possibly a second rally in Washington, PA. I have no problem calling myself a member of the Tea Party Movement, which is a loose association of like minded people exercising their right to peacefully assemble with other citizens to petition the government for redress of grievencies. I am still a conservative and a Republican, but I will associate with whom I please and as Sarah Palin says, cling to my guns and my Constitution.
Our guns, in this case, are figurative. Our guns at the rallies should be our cameras and video cams, as we record the actual activities and the size of the rallies as they occur. If anyone begins to act in a suspicious way, for instance a ragged, sloven leftist starts acting weird while shouting out racial or astroturf phrases aimed at tainting the rally, turn your cameras and cams upon them and catch them in context. Get in their faces with your recording devices and catch them on the fly. Then post your images on your personal blogs or a friend's blog and show them up as the plants they are. At the same time, try to capture on film the full extent of the rallies. In Washigton, D.C., that means try to film the activities from a high vantage point, like the Washington Monument, as I suggested last year for the 11/12 March. We need to show the true extent of the assembly, because the Media will not even try.
This year, we will have larger and far more numerous Tea Party rallies, but, like last year, we can not count on the Goebbelist Media to actually report it as News. That is our responsibility as the New Press, to bring all the information coming in from north, east, west and south, the definition of the word "news". We are responsible for reporting the truth in the News, the Left only reports the view from the Left. The activism of the Left is only astroturf, after all.
Here in Pittsburgh, we were expecting a large number of leftist demonstrators during the G20 meeting. Only a couple hundred scruffy, mangy demonstrators showed up. With our cameras and video cams, we can keep the turnout of the Left tomorrow to a minimum. We are winning, never doubt that for a minute. We will make history in the November elections of 2010 and 2012. That is how important and how long term our commitment must be to bring about real change.
P.S.: It seems Jason Levin is a teacher at a school called the Conestoga Middle School and may soon be investigated for his extracurricular activities when he's supposed to be a teacher, a job he seems to hate. Imagine, he may just be another miserable Leftist. I'm shocked. We'll keep you posted.
