I always knew we will win back both houses in 2010. History is on our side. Just as the Republicans won both houses in the 1994 elections with the Contract with America, we will do the same in the coming year. Michael Barone, in his posting today "When Legerdemain Is Used to Pass an Unpopular Bill" points out the effect of an unpopular bill rammed through the Senate, called the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 and concerning the expansion of slavery. He pointed out the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives went from a 159-71 majority to a 108-83 Republican majority as a result of the next elections, and the Republicans were the new second party! If we revitalize the GOP now, we can be even more successful in the new year, because one third of the Senate is also up for elections, including 16 Democrats. Even now, with the overpriced 60 street walkers of the Democrat Caucus voting today to ruin America, enslave us and exclude themselves and their staffs from the fraud of Health Care Reform, I'm optimistic about the New Year. Yes, we will succeed in taking back the Congress and transforming two of the best little cat houses in Washington, D.C. back to components of our republic. The third cat house, the White House, will fall to us in 2012.
