Obama can't fool informed adult Americans any more. So he will now try corralling their children in school on Sept. 9, 2009, just two days before 9/11. Perhaps he can sway kids possessing heads full of mush with his sophomoric, mushy rhetoric instead. It's the perfect end run.
As President, Big Brother is the head of the Executive Branch of the Federal government and has power over the entire federal education system through the Dept. of Education. He has, in his view, the right, the obligation to force the children of America sitting in their school rooms to watch his words of wisdom with detailed class instructions and then have them confront and possibly spy on their mean spirited parents. It is his by Right of King, either by Charles I or Mad King George, to back him up. Both kings were wrong: one lost his head but cured his lifelong stutter on the gallows and the other just lost his mind. Like Obama, both thought they could arbitrarily impose new taxes and restrictions on the People and then faced popular uprisings.
It's bold, it's change and it's wrong. No president, at least no American president, has imposed himself with printed course descriptions onto a federally regulated captive audience made up primarily of children before. Fascist and comunist dictators like Hitler and Stalin, both former cummunity organizers, would love to have had access to television. It would have made it easier to more thoroughly preach their messages to the children in their respective fiefdoms under their complete personal control through their Cults of Personality. They only had the more haphazard means of radio, posters and movie newsreels produced by each fiefdom's complacent news media.
The solutions to this subterfuge are simple. If you have children in public schools, you can opt out of this waste of time. Keep them home for the day or arrange for them to gather in classrooms or auditroriums without televisions to better utilize their time through self-directed study during the speech and enforced participation with guidelines provided from Fearless Leader. At the same time, will Obama come clean and admit to the children he is indoctrinating that they will be debt slaves for life to pay for his endless, massive deficits and a grossly expanded national debt?
So call it the first annual Freedom From Indoctrination Day or the The True Public Option Day. Call it a religious holiday during Ramadan, call it not going to the dark side of The Force, Call it American Freedom Day. Just call your school, call off, set up alternative study, tune out and have your children drop out for the day for private study. Call it John Galt Day.
