Now that she has paid the price of freedom of speech by losing her title, Miss Prejean should continue to speak up and not be intimidated by the Left. The Left always oversteps their bounds, loses their collective mind and makes fools of themselves. If anyone has failed here, it is the Left, by being unable to convince the most liberal state (and soon to be first bankrupt) of California to vote for gay marriage. Gay marriage is as illusory an oxy moron as liberal compassion. Since they could not attack the State of California, they attacked a symbol of it. But that symbol, Miss California, was not a dumb California blond.
Miss Prejean simply stated her beliefs, and for that she has been punished. This is now her badge of honor, by standing up against what the Media wants everyone to think is popular opinion, wrapped up as who is popular and who is not. On Google's title page, Prejean's article was accompanied by what the Left wants us to believe is popular. These consisted of pictures and comments in the margins about celebrities.
The price of celebrity is too high today. To be "popular" is to hide your beliefs, if you have any at all. For actors and other entertainers who obsess about their popularity, the price is not that great; for they are changelings by nature and rarely stand for anything. Miss Prejean has a great future ahead of her as an independent minded American. She has spoken and so have the majority of the people of California, despite what they are supposed to think.
The Left needs to remember the limitations of their own propaganda in popular culture. Oscar Wilde was a celebrity in his time and would be considered politically correct today who observed "Everthing that is popular is wrong".
